TREY LANCE is the starting quarterback of the DALLAS COWBOYS by 2024!

Dak Prescott can’t make it to 2024 as the Dallas Cowboy’s starting quarterback for two reasons. One is that his cap number in 2024 is 59 million. And the second reason is that if he negotiates a new deal, it will be for over 52 million a year. That would mean that someone that is even more productive on the Cowboys would not get paid. That is unacceptable in the long term.

Daks contract has a no trade clause. The structure of his contract also has the cowboys taking a 36 million dollar void money hit in 2025. No one in the League could afford not to resign someone with that dead money. Trey needs at least two years to develop. The dak led cowboys were ranked #4 in points per game and #1 in red zone scoring percentage. Everyone is so frustrated and I get it but he’s gonna be our starter for awhile until lance is PROPERLY ready, so why add more pressure onto Dak by calling for Trey to be the starter so soon. Cowboys should unload him. 9 years of failure with Prescott is enough. An idea is to trade Precostt to the Patriots for their 3 round pick . There are really good QB's in the draft. For Prescott, there is always the XFL.

Any trade for Prescott would be a plus for the Cowboys. He has a no-trade, and no one else gives him the cache that the Cowboys do, financially. So he makes any trade difficult but I would be looking to move up in the draft and get another QB. You never know.

Dak beat them soundly. Watch the Green Bay Packer game this season. Watch CeeDee Lamb walking off the field when it was third down. Head down and ready to kick a can. Our offense plays are childish. Last year (before the "here we gooo" cadence). the announce called the play as Dak was saying "Red 42, Red 42". The announce said "this is a run to the right side". and it was a run to the right side. I live in Ohio and the Dallas Cowboys have an offense coordinator with the last name Schottenheimer.
