Good explanation and the pics tell the story well too. However, around here no one calls "skip" chain "full skip", it is just skip when there is an extra driver link between every cutter. Semi-skip I have never seen in use, but makes sense to call it that since there is only the extra driver link between every PAIR of cutters. We use the word "full" occasionallyt when referring to standard chain with a "full compliment of cutters". Carry on.
