I love love supershocks and think they are the BEST beginner eyeshadow. My friends that are not into makeup always compliment me on my eyeshadow specifically when I wear them, and I’ve gifted them loads, especially Ritz. I've revived mine by digging the dried up ones from the pan chopping it up adding a drop or two of a dry oil and it smoothes into a really good consistency. I pop it back into the pan and press it with kitchen paper- which soaks up any excess oil and I've had no no issues with creasing despite using an oil 👍

My all time favorite is ritz. It is the most amazing sss I’ve ever purchased. If you don’t have that. GET IT. it makes your lids look wet. Absolutely obsessed with that shade

this is probaby a weird choice, but I really wish they would bring back Wattles.... It was such a nice cool toned pinky-purple shade that worked well with other shadows, and the satin finish made it slightly more interesting than just a regular matte. Colourpop has next to no satin finish super shock shadows anymore and it was SO easy to use as like a one and done if I needed to be out the door, or as like a base if you wanted to put a shimmer on top. I just miss it i'm nearly out and i can't replace it anymore, i've been looking for something similar for ages now :(

I totally agree! Wattles is my most used sss and the only one I had to buy a back up for because I used it so much. I also really love the satin formula cause it gave that nice subtle glossy dimension that regular mattes don't have. Perfect for work/everyday. I really hope they come out with more satins in the future...and bring back Wattles!

Haha for me Wattles is the one dud in my super shock collection! It just emphasizes lid texture with no real colour payoff (for my skin tone anyway) Glad you liked yours though! 😁

Wattles plus a little Twitterpated across the lid is my go-to look that looks like I spent time on my eyes but it took 15 seconds. I wish they’d do more super shock satins, too!

LOVE Wattles!! Mine is still going strong and I use it all the time. There's this other one called Bill that they sell at Ulta. It's a dusty mauve and oh so pretty. I would say it's more matte than satin, but still perfect to use as a base, if you're interested!

I was upset with Rose Garden too. I wanted this cute pastel purple with blue and meh. More of a topper for me on top of other purples. It does look good on its own too. I get confused by their labeling a lot bc it seems like they prefer glitters but I think a good amount are actually metallic. Moon Daisy and In Harmony are my most used, as well as the duo from the Wine collection. I bought a different gold right before they brought In Harmony back, and I’m so upset lol The duo from the roaring 20s collection is also a nice set of neutrals, a good light rose gold and champagne. And my favorite one shadow look is with Rooftop Cocktails, somehow that goes with almost every outfit I wear, but it’s also one of those neutral but not quite shades.

Moonwalk is my absolute favorite! I prefer more of a metallic than the glittery especially the transparent glittery ones. Thank you for being so descriptive it really helps when considering what I would prefer when purchasing.

Birthday Boy is my all time favorite, I’ve gone through two almost 3. Still have two back ups so thank goodness! It was discontinued so long ago! If it dries out too much I just break it up and mix it together with an inglot duraline dupe and put it on my eyes that way

I don't have So Quiche, but what I do with shades like it that are a little overwhelming on their own is a version of what you call ice cream eyes: I put the Super Shock Shadow on most of the lid (center & outer corner), then on the inner part of the eye, I layer a Super Shock Highlighter that corresponds to the color of the sparkle in the shadow. From what they currently have available, it looks like Candy Floss or Over the Moon might go well with So Quiche.

Love this video! I took the plunge and ordered some palettes and super shock shadows last year. When I have enough on my wishlist to hit the free international shipping, I think I need to include secret garden and set to stun. Of the ones I've tried so far, frog and amaze are my faves. Amaze is so nice with a matte brown or bronzer in the crease.

My Super Shock collection is old! So my favorites are no longer available, but if you see these show back up, they're great: Prickly Pear, Hot Tamale, Plunge, and Shark Attack. The Tinkerbell trio is a set I picked up recently, and I am in love with the mid-tone pink shade from that one. ^_^

My fave is Sailor. It has a really pretty champagne base with blue glitter throughout. I bought it on accident and fell in love. It's still neutral but with a twist!

This was great! I love the Super Shock formula so much. 💜 My favorites are Ice Dream as a topper, and Ripple as a base for JD Glow N-Sane. That combo is my favorite two shadow look. 👌🏻 I also really love REM as a base for Devinah Swudge, and Bill is a beautiful, matte mauve, that's really easy to work with. 💙✨✨

Hooray for Super Shocks!! I recently got Rooftop Cocktails and it is truly magnificent (IMO), like I gasped a little the first time I searched it lol. Not to shade your swatches Lauren - you truly do an amazing job - but in real life it’s so much more sparkly and shifty. I’d love to get Secret Garden at some point, it was sold out when I made my last order 😢 and I think I’d love it. That being said, I probably don’t need any more because I have 20 already!

And that Chartreuse, omg👀 I have a few but I haven’t used them in so long I don’t remember what colors or is if the highlighters I have🤔🤔😬 definitely want some more though. I haven't purchased any supershocks in awhile, which is how I came across your video because I'm looking to buy some new ones. Can I just say... my first supershocks were the Coffee Break with Dani collab, which was long before Colourpop was ever known. They kinda came onto people's radar at that point but even still there wasn't a ton of people who knew about them even after that. I need to see how many years ago that was. I dont follow Dani anymore, and haven't in years but I still have those shadows because I just can't throw them away!! (I'd never put them on my eyes, don't worry🤣). Anyhow, thank you for your very helpful video! It's helped me decide on a handful to try.

Haha I told myself that if I didn't have one of your top 3 I was gonna pick it up if I could, but I already have all of your top 3 in my collection 😂😂 Idk if it's still available bc it came out with the FlutterBy palette, but the shade FlyingCircus is SUPER pretty and a more amped up version of that RoseGarden one you showed at the bottom of the list. (It's also more purple than blue but does have a blue glitter "shift"... easily one of my faves and most used.) One color I wish they'd re-release is Flipper. It's this beautiful glittery orange. The only way to get it when it 1st came out was in a pack of 4 and I didn't want the other shades so I passed on it, but man I still think about it from time to time! Samantha March recently decluttered it bc she doesn't use that color or formula very often. She even said she kept it for so long bc of how pretty it is and didn't really want to get rid of it, but was trying to be cutthroat. I think I already mentioned Sailor to you when you 1st asked for rec's, but if it ever comes back in stock I really think you would like it! It's similar to Frog in its base, but with a blue glitter shift. Oh, also Ladybird. It's a silvery-champagne kinda color, but to me, that's one of the MOST glittery shades they offer. Sometimes I'll tap it over a SuperShock that has a deeper base color to amp up the glittery look or I'll use it alone and pair it with a winged liner. It was the 1st one I ever bought and the one responsible for my SuperShock addiction 😂😂 (Other honorable mentions are: Ripple, IceDream, BirthdayWish or MightyMorphin.. they're very similar, and DayTrippin. Not sure about availability, but if you ever get the chance.. grab 'em!) Great video!! Thank you for doing SinglesWeek! I just ordered A Little Quarky and I’m really hopeful that it’ll scratch my itch for a sparkly neutral 1 shadow look. Thanks for describing the texture and reflect colors. Those do not translate to pics or video well (nor in CP's cavalier way of labeling almost any SS as a an "Ultra Glitter" now) so descriptions really help a lot. I passed on For Real bc CP's pics and descriptions made it sound like a reddish leaning pink, but I love peachy pinks w gold reflects so I will give that one a try next time! Thanks for also pointing out how different ppl have different tastes. I do not like the super in-your-face, ultra glittery shades. I like Sequin a lot more than Secret Garden bc Secret Garden is so in-your-face. Polly (from Bloom & Grow duo) and Twitterpated are also true "ultra glitters" that are too much for me. I like more matte shades that are pinky peach w gold reflect, warm yellow golds, and champagnes, so I am liking Runyon, the Can You Beelieve It duo, Chirp, and Amaze. For non-peaches and golds, I really like the Wavebreaker duo.

This made me count my Supershocks and I have 35. o_O Of those, only two or three would be considered neutral and the rest are fun colors. (I just can't bring myself to be interested in neutrals, even if they're sparkly.) The neutral Supershocks I have are one from the original Disney princess collection, the Animal Crossing one, and Tassel which is a super glittery white. I guess two neutral-adjacent ones I have that I still really like are Roy G. Biv and Bubbly, both light pink glitters that ColourPop labeled as satin for some reason. As for which is my favorite... man, I really do adore most of them. Ripple might take the trophy for #1 though; it's a purple base with blue sparkle that's just so gorgeous I wish it could be my hair color, haha. Bae is a really interesting one because in the pan it looks *dark* purple but it's not at all harsh on the eyes. Slave2pink is the most intense hot pink I have. Frog is a glitter bomb in the best possible way. Banana Daiquiri is like the color of the ocean in animated movies. Glowstix is straight-up highlighter yellow, which pairs great with Fizz, a neon lime green. Dreamlover is like if you took grape jelly and put a thin layer of it on your eyes but also the grape jelly was packed with sparkles, haha. I'm not usually an orange kinda gal, but Bubble Bee is a really lovely orange. The three I have from the more recent Disney princess collection are all really beautiful, too: Touch The Sky, I See The Light, and A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes. Okay, I should stop before I just list them all. :P I think most of the ones I have are gone from their website and Ulta at this point. That's a huge bummer but also understandable since I bought some of them in late 2017, which is a few decades in the ColourPop timeline. None of them have dried out yet somehow. I store mine upside-down so maybe that helps? (I get some on a finger and tap it onto the label on the bottom of the pan so I can more easily remember which is which.) The other day I was thinking I should go swatch them all and post that on IG but uh.. I might need more arms for that.

My faves atm are Ladybird and Plume, the sparkle in these is otherwordly. I have So Quiche and use it all over the lid and up to my browbone, it has a base but it's also kinda translucent, Idk is weird. Loved this video, super shocks are amazing. Now I want Fruit Punch, Secret Garden, Rooftop Cocktails haha.

Catnap is my all time favourite (NKLA LE) from too many years ago. Sheer bronze metallic. Sailor is a favourite too, it’s sold out, but still on the site so 🤞I recently ordered a few and expected Ritz to be my new fave, but it turned out to be A Little Querky.

I love these, I got tea party a while back and it was perfect. I wore it almost every day. But by the time I wanted to get a new one it was gone 😕. Imo these are definitely for someone who knows what they like and would wear them often

My favorites are from the Oh That Jazz set. I always wanted a black super shock and I bought the set solely for it. I fell in love with the champagne one that came with it, which was surprising because I don't care for neutral makeup. I also don't apply any of my super shocks with a brush. When comparing the payoff you get from a brush versus a finger, it's really no contest.

A Little Quarky is my absolute fave super shock product to use as a sparkly blush topper on a full face, or on bare skin alone as a blush/bronzer/highlight without being any of them.

I recently bought the Gone Matte palette. My plan is to pair that palette with my SSS. I want to see how many different looks I can create. Makeup is so much fun! Ladybird is my absolute favorite. It's a champagne base with an intense silver/white gitter. Whenever I really want a super reflective lid, I use ladybird. I used it at a wedding and it photographed beautifully as well. If supershocks lasted longer, I would buy a bunch of backups.

I can’t remember what I had in my collection of super shocks in the past except loving so quiche and it wasn’t available , but the only one left is 🥁 : Cosmic Charge ✨ with a pan ✨ I might pick up so quiche as soon as I can because I’m on a no buy for no reason 😂 im just tired of shopping makeup & that’s weirdly peaceful for now 😂 im just enjoying my collection 🏆✨💜
