New sub here from the Treasure Coast area. Keep it up. How are you liking the Fierce combos? Tough to beat for cheap. I use the BG combos and the reels are great but the guides on the rods come out too easy.

Wow, the Treasure Coast is an amazing place to fish! I like the Fierce combos for the money. I had moved back to Florida and was starting from scratch with my fishing gear so getting the Fierce rod and reels allowed me to buy 5 or 6 combos without breaking the bank. Now I'd like to start upgrading. I'm doing some research but i'll probably move away from Penn rods. Would you stick with the BG reel on your next setup?

@@fishingmilesaway man I have zero complaints on the BG reels to be honest. I’d probably consider those or the Penn Battle 3. That Fierce combo is really tough to beat though to be honest for that price point. I just need a light rod so I won’t buy combo’s anymore. I’ll probably buy BGs or Battles and just match them to some light weight cheaper hurricane rods like a Calico Jack on the low end. Or maybe something nicer. Not sure yet
