I’m a little late to the party with this episode but I think the background is totally fine! I do love the other background infront of the window with the plants as it is just ✨aesthetics✨ but what ever works for you in the moment! Just go with the flow and it‘s fine 💖 after all we are here for you and your knits not for the background 😅 also I think inserting photos is always a good idea no matter where you film as it gives variety and shows the yarn/knitted thing in different lightings and settings so you get a better idea how it looks on a sunny day vs on a gloomy day, or outside vs inside etc. Beautiful works as always! Can‘t wait to see how the boreas anorak develops, it‘s so pretty 🧶💖

You have the same issue in one of your cables that I also have in my first Moby, where the middle of the cable pops out. I couldn’t find any info online about it, and I notice a lot of people have it too. I think it’s the large number of stitches involved on worsted weight yarn. I was able to fix it this time around. For the cable that’s giving your problems, slip the stitches to your cable needle and move to front/back as needed. Then slip the next four to the right needle, slip the cable stitches back to the needle and then the 4 from the right needle back. Make sure to do this at the very tip of the needle so they don’t stretch out. Then knit those 8 stitches tightly! If you still see a little pouf, pinch and massage that cable to lie how it’s supposed to. Do this after the next WS row after the cable so the stitches don’t settle into a wrong position.

Hi Joyin, a photographer here. You can buy a light bulb made for constant light stands and use it in a normal standing lamp if it's wide enough. I have one in my cheapest ikea lamp (the one with two light points) and it helps a lot. The colors will be close to true with this kind of light too and it won't look like a set all the time. My other bulb is soft warm light for reading before bedtime. I live in Poland and this set-up cost around 35 dollars here.

Love to see all the knits. You do such a great job. When you're knitting the pattern for your male friend, make sure the yoke depth is good. I'm not sure what it is in the pattern, so that's something to be mindful of. The rest should be ok.

Hiya, lovely podcast episode ❤ wanted to recommend trying this method for joining 2 yarns invisibly. It is called Russian join and it works very well for the chain blown yarns. Here is a link for an example tutorial: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aajRlqNse5dlodksi=EtoLmpjOAGeJk_Zo I tried it with Drops Air when I knit a cardigan, and I didn't have any ends to weave in when I joined the balls.
