For some reason Seat Mii not mentioned but is the same car as the Up and Citigo. All are great City cars and all are made at the VW Bratislava plant.

Superb build quality, and available in that gorgeous Sunflower Yellow paintwork, the CityGo makes huge sense, and it's almost as plush as it's posh brother the VW Up, and drives just as well.

Its all well and good with the top model with satnav and sunroof and whatever. Only problem is, that the sole point of this car is to be cheap. And if you load it up fully, its no longer cheap. At least not really. So why not get a Fabia then, which is a much better car and has a usable rear seat?

Ive just got the SEL Greentech Citigo, and new price it is quite expensive, but I got a huge discount so it made it a bargain.

Ive got the 5 speed asg And I can't complain - however if you're an unexperienced driver or simply car illiterate DONT BUY THE ASG. Then you'll be saying stuff like this bloke. The asg drives well for a semi auto which it really is. It will encourage you to whip it into manual when coming to a slope to go up the hill in 3rd and same goes for entering the motorways. That d/m is where you take control. The added display for recommended gear choice is also good and gives the driver a better idea of which gear to choose I also think that this is a very good way for folks that are only able to drive automatics to get a better understanding of what it's like to drive manual therefore enables people to learn better without the risk of de-clutching to early or too slow having the car stall and stop forcing the driver to restart the vehicle which is very awkward for the driver and can be very frustrating for other road users. Test drive a 1.2 dsg and then test drive the asg. Make a good choic

I had a Smart CDi, with that infamous auto box which everyone says is terrible, and you lurch back and forth during gear changes. What a load of rubbish. I assume the ASG is similar on operation, and if so it is easy to anticipate changes, and also make it change gear by lifting foot off accelerator between changes. Its bad drivers blaming the tools :) nothing wrong with the boxes.

This is basically the same as the up and mii but i went with a vw up for my first car..managed to get the 2014 mid range model with 1k miles for 7k

It is a good car.I think more should be made of the gearbox.it is so loose many times I've not been able to get into year correctly.However I'm 90 percent happy with it

de hecho Volkswagen y Skoda son marcas del grupo VAG, así que técnicamente nadie le copió a nadie, ya que son el mismo producto con distintas marcas, añadiendo el Seat Mii. la situación es la misma que pasa con la Peugeot Partner y la Citroën Berlingo ;)

0-62 30.9 seconds ? surely not, should be around 14 seconds for the more powerful model you are driving.

Looks like a great small car - such a pity they have not got a decent auto 'box available ........ oh wait, they have, the DSG that they fit to all their other cars ......... but have just chosen not to fit it to this model !! How stupid is that ? Every decent city car needs an automatic gearbox to make it truly useful around town in stop/start driving, so why the hell don't Skoda fit the DSG (which is excellent) to this small car ?

i10 is better with a 7 year warranty.

hyylo what is better on i10 than on CitiGo? On i10 the CO2 is much worse, mpg is far worse, much noisier inside (+5dB), is slower 0-60, has smaller seating space in front. Its got warranty alright ...

Hyundai i10 is better than this. Too spartan, bolts and body shells is an unwanted scene.
