Skoda octavia 2020- switch on, pull up window, release, pull up and hold 5 sec, release, push down, release, push down and hold 5 sec, release, switch off then switch on. IT WORKED FOR ME

That's interesting as my one touch features stopped working on my drivers window BUT... simultaneously, the remote open and close on the key fob as also stopped... I reset my drivers window as you suggested and Lo... The remote feature kicked back in. Genius fix.. Thanks so much...

Excellent, after repairing the window regulator on the driver's door of my 2013 Octavia, the one-touch function stopped working. The manual did not explain how to restore the function but your '3-click' method seemed to work. This did not seem to restore the convenience function where the unlock on the remote opens the windows. I am not sure how I enabled it, I think that I held the open button on the remote whilst opening the window manually. After that, it seemed to work correctly. I had already checked that it was still enabled in the 'Car' menu of the infotainment system.

My driver window stayed down yesterday on my Karoq, it appears to not work that well in the rain, I was on the motorway, so I left it for a while an it decided to work, now I am not confident to open it again in case it gets stuck again.

In my 2014 Golf 7, the passenger side window fell down. Have a read in the owners manual it should explain how to reset this on your vehicle. If that procedure or this press and hold or 3x press doesn’t work it may be a faulty switch.

Has anyone else noticed the terrible design of the skoda octavia drivers window switches? If the window id down half an inch and it starts to rain the water lands right on to the switches shorting them but worse still the switches corrode so become useless.
