Great walkthrough. I agree, this is a really great package, and with "Chinese EV" pricing it will sell a lot. I have been lucky driving the Elroq earlier this year, and it drives good also. Perfect car for young families and spacewize it crushes the EX30. It also has digital instrument display and headup that many other are missing.

Agreed. I drove it on the Škoda test track 2 weeks ago and it's really good to drive, much better than my enyaq, it's a bit like my Škoda Yeti back in the day.

I do personally find the MEB looks a little odd in the ID.3 / Cupra Born style. This short SUV format looks better than any of the other MEB vehicles, to me. ps. just subbed to the channel, Chris. Best wishes.

Just unfortunate being VW they have no frunk and am guessing drivers door still only has the two buttons for the windows instead of 4 buttons. Definitely a couple of Hyundai inspired features I picked up on. I think the designer is right it is for everyone not just the younger market, I'm in the more mature market myself and I like it. Buying it would depend on test drive, whether I fit and if there is what I call the dead zone for my left foot(RHD Market) that is between the foot rest and brake pedal like Hyundai has.

As for the exterior design and dashboard/'user interface' i prefer the EV3. This Elroque looks like a Hyundai Kona (looking at the front of the car).

It is an interesting point, he is actually saying it correctly as written on the car. Škoda have themselves changed the letter to a standard S, whereas previously they used Š correctly. Their websites now have a total mix of confusion on the name and I recall something in the Czech press about name changes a while ago. More of an issue, it would be handy to get the country name a little closer to the correct one - Czech Republic & Czechia are the English versions.

The base price sounds affordable but it’s absolutely barebone and the options are incredibly expensive. Not very interesting. Needs heavy dealer rebates to be competitive,

what exactly do you want to hear or are you just hypnotized by recent headlines? It charges fast, range is on pair with the industry, it looks better than most EVs, and build quality is on top. Why shouldn't it sell?

In Denmark the lesser versions has price parity with VW ID3 and the top trim has almost same price as Enyaq 85 Premium... And the Kia EV3 seems cheaper. I am disappointed
