Nice video, very informative and detailed. As feedback, if you add video chapters it would be easier/faster to find specific information. Automatically generated key moments are ok but not very accurate all the time. Thank you, I'll look forward to more videos.

Hi again! I just "discovered" this cool car today.., for a week ago I commented some of your Ioniq 6 reviews..., I your opinion: For a potential first time EV owner, after 15 years with Toyota Prius....: This Skoda Enyaq Coupe RS or the Ioniq 6? Overall toughts.. 😊 Cheers from Bergen/Norway.

Welcome back! The Enyaq is getting an update soon with a more powerful drivetrain and higher efficiency. So a bit longer range and a bit quicker. But the Ioniq 6 and the Enyaq is 2 very different cars. The Enyaq is more practical with a better back seat and bigger boot. The Ioniq 6 is a sedan, not so practical if you have kids. Ioniq 6 has better charging and even higher efficiency. If you are looking for a practical car from the Kia/Hyundai group then the Kia EV6 may be a better alternative than both cars mentioned. Big back seat and boot, efficiency and good charging.

Thanks for this nice review. How would you compare this one to Q4 SB 40? Is 205KM enough for Q4 SB 40?

Thank you! Guess you are referring to the 205 HP? It's a heavy car so it's on the lower side, but will work if you don't care about performance. But it's getting an update now so the new version has the new rear motor delivering 282hp, that's a great update.

@@ItsOnlyElectric Thanks for this. Yes, 205HP, we use KM in our country 😉 I think that going for Enyaq Coupe RS is then smarter. If looking from what is on stock point of view. If both are on stock then the RS makes more sense to me.

Nice car and nice review. I’m following you for a while and having lived in Sweden, I even appreciate your accent 😅. Now the question no reviewer wants to answer with honesty: How does it compare to. Tesla model Y dual motor on every aspect?

Thank you for following and for liking my great accent! 😂 Honestly: Comfort: Skoda (suspension and noise), seats goes to Tesla. Software: Tesla Price: Tesla Looks: not sure Performance: Tesla Efficiency: Very tight, but most likely Tesla Practicality: Tesla, more space in general If the Skoda was a bit cheaper and had a more evolved Software and infotainment HW, it could be an alternative for me.

@@ItsOnlyElectric Many thanks for your assessment. What about handling in a curvy road? I understand that Skoda has a more balanced suspension but does it handle better than the Tesla? I test drove a BMW ix1 at the last IAA in Munich and it felt much more "comfortable and insulated" on a bumpy road but Tesla is actually more silent than my former car (bmw x1 18d) Regards from Germany

@javiersequeros9634 both cars handles very well, Tesla is a bit more stiff with less body roll but also more bumpy.

As an owner of the Skoda Enyaq VRS one of the big differences to the Tesla Model Y is its handling capabilities. Actually you can have really fun on a curvy road. The second thing that is a big plus for the Skoda is the cabine noice (or the lack of noice) compared to the Tesla and its road noice from mainly the tires. The last thing is that the Tesla MY is very direct in its steering feel, so you have to compensate and point the wheels very often in the right position. This can be fun and very "go-cart-like", but for a daily driver it drives me crazy. In the Skoda the car more floats along the direction of the road.

Ja, det mesta känns lite trött när man kört en MYP eller M3P. Bmw M50 och alla Nios och Xpengs performancebilar är däremot riktigt pigga dom också. Iofs även ev6 gt

Not sure why they cheap out on the motors? Putting a 200hp motor in the front cant really be that more expensive?

Not sure either. The updated version will have a stronger motor at the rear. I guess it's tied to VW legacy cars: they want to stay in line with their combustion engine lineup and deliver cars with similar performance. This is my own thoughts so don't quote me on this. 😃

@@ItsOnlyElectric I really think it has more with branding and performance image than anything else. Can't have a VW family suv being faster than a RS6 eh? Everyone should be able to have a fast car as an EV owner imo.

3 STRIKES. A 76kWh/74kWh full usable, new generation CATL SHENXING LFP battery would give more usable and chargeable battery than 77kWh NMC so called "usable". SHENXING offers new faster charging speeds and better cold weather performance. Cobalt has too many issues. 11kW AC is not good enough for a European brand they should know how useful 22kW 3 Phase AC is. Once again we get the VW group charging port on the rear Right side that is the Wrong side. As there is no frunk why not just put the charge port at the front like old NISSAN LEAFs so even an older TESLA Supercharger, short cable can reach it?

Where did you come up those numbers MEB is 82 kWh gross capacity when full usable is 77 kWh. Many European house has main fuses 3x 25A which gives roughly 17 kWh (230V) possibility so having a car with 22kW onboard charger would require bigger main fuses for house which increases monthly cost and 11 kW is already big enough to fully charge overnight.
