Great to see someone taking the time to drill down into the technical details of an electric car!

@@TheFutureisElectricYou’re welcome. It’s interesting to see some of the future proofing that’s been built into the current technology, such as leaving space for wireless charging. It’s also exciting to see what lies ahead in terms of new battery technology, electric motors etc. Will be keeping an eye on your channel as you are a great reviewer!

Thanks for a very informative car review! Could you please also talk about the audio system? And compare a few songs in different genres? ❤

Fascinating presentation of how the battery functions. Just one point: there is no such word as "longetivity" - it should be "longevity"... Sorry, as an English teacher I just had to let you know! 🙂🙂🙂

Thanks for this. Great to hear that Malta is the perfect temperature for EVs! FYI the increase in reported range when going downhill is probably a poor measure of the amout of energy that has been recovered through regen, because it reflects not just the change in the amount of energy contained in the battery, but more significantly also the lower rate at which that energy is consumed (the average consumption is what is used to calculate remaining range). The change in the percentage charge of the battery would be better measure of the amount of energy actually recovered through regen

I have one of these on a long term rental of 2 months. It's a surprisingly great car, even better than the ID4 I had before. The infotainment and app still sucks like all VAG cars, but the rest of it is great. Even on the single motor version it's snappy and responsive. The brakes feel a bit weak especially since this thing can reach 165km/h (the software limit) without noticing. On single phase it seems to get limited to 3kw (on 16A European plug), while the ID4 reached 4kw. Comfort wise, it has a huge boot but the seats are just slightly more uncomfortable than the ID4's or even VW ICE cars. I've decided not to keep it primarily because of the bad infotainment and app platform.
