IF the 'cup' holders when used to hold bottles, restrict access to the short cut buttons, then maybe use the holders for 'cups' and put bottles in the door pocket, thats why they are referred to as 'CUP' holders!!

if only CUP holders could hold anything larger than small cup from costa. they are too narrow and that's why people use them to hold narrower but taller bottles.

I own a Tesla Model 3 Performance. My Wife has just bought this Skoda Enyaq VRS iv80 Maxx Package in Black & 21" wheel upgrade. 0-60mph in 6 seconds is more than enough

Sounds to me like there’s a lot you don’t like about this car. I don’t understand why you’d get one of these and not get a normal enyaq like you eluded go in the conclusion. ‘Hot’ car that’s 0-60 is over 6s is a bit embarrassing. Great review really Enjoyed it

Skoda has knocked it out the park imo with the Enyaq compared with the ID5 and Q4 ETron. The interior of the Skoda is miles ahead of its competition. Price is a hard one to swallow but so are just about every car nowadays. I do think I'd save the money and go for a Sportline with 2WD.

As an owner of an Octavia vRS just for a bit of fun I did a quick comparison on Skoda's configurator. From memory the 0-62 time is less than the Enyaq and as far as basic list prices are concerned the Octy is around 18k cheaper and over a 4 year pcp it's around 13k cheaper. I know they're not really a like for like comparison but it does show EVs certainly arn't cheap to run for those who don't have one as a company car.

One thing's for sure in that colour you'd never that problem of where did I park my car in the car park as it sticks out like a sore thumb. I had a friend with a GTi Seat Ibiza in that very same colour. 6.6 to 60 would be quick enough for me yet you claim this is slow Rebecca probably compared to one of your sports cars aye but as you also observed it's a big heavy battery car so exactly what speed to you expect from it and why does it have to be about 0-60 after all it tops out at I think it's 99mph and legally on a motorway you can only do 70 so why does that matter plus it's still another hideously overpriced EV which unless you're lucky to have an option of a company car nobody who is a private car owner unless they're well l heeled will be able to afford it. If they want to get more folk to electric they need to be cheaper to buy and insure.

I know the feeling about the info system. We have a 21 Octavia and after about 2 months OK Laura and I nearly had a divorce, BUT, there was an update came through and now we're buddies, change temperature where I want make phone calls to whom I want not to too someone I haven't a clue about etc. Would have loved an Enyaq but they changed how you order extras into bundles where half the items are unwanted. We've decided on a Kodiaq as my wife likes the extra headroom as the passenger seat has to be adapted to swivel and that locks it at a higher height. You're not short Rebecca, as I told my daughter she's built closer to the ground for better cornering 🤣

I am concerned! Is the power output, 300bhp available all the time? Or is it restricted to 265bhp, unless the battery is fully charged and various other measures need to be aligned, before full power is available?

Not sure I get the comparison with the Volvo... You have to spend 4 grand more to get the xc40 with the higher power motors; the one that's the same price as the enyaq is slower by more than a second?

It’s really quite an ugly car, none of the details are properly resolved. I don’t like the interior much either, and if I had to pay extra for decent seat comfort … well I wouldn’t.
