Skoda Enyaq key not detected, battery replace

My key didn't want to flash to open the door this cold morning. I hand -warmed it and it was ok, but decided it was new battery time when i got home. Ta.. Your advice was invaluable!

Useful advice thank you. But the easiest way to find out if the new battery is working is (a) look for a red light to flash just to the right of the padlock (b) go outside and test it on. the car. (Not everyone has a battery tester!)
