I saw a number of different gear knobs on Fabia's MK1. I thought that it's a facelift change, but apparently it's not. Why some of them have a different gear knob?

@@HatBoyHarvey I'd like to replace my headlining. I will take it out of the car, remove the glue and the old material. How much will cost me, if I'll give it to some upholsterer, just to make it brand new? Then I'll mount this to the car, myself.

maybe look into going to a scrapyard for the headlining as these are often in good condition and cheap :-)

@@AdisonCavani I did that job myself. Bought some headliner fabric and 2 cans of spray glue. I think it cost me about 60-70 bucks. total. It's a pretty easy job. Just dont forget to, especially in the front, fold the fabric over the edge of the liner, and glue it tight onto the other side. Or else you will see the cutoffs at the edge of the headliner when viewing the car from the front.

Sorry, no. You can investigate the selector lever to see where there is play and replace parts that seem loose. Maybe take the whole assembly out of a working scrapped vehicle.

It may very well fit, but I have never tried it, possibly try a scrap yard and compare the two :-)
