Skoda Kushaq 1.0 MT Drive Review | The First Impression | July 2021

July 2021: V3Cars reviews the Skoda Kushaq 1.0-litre petrol-manual to find out how it performs in real life. In this video, we tell you about its performance, exterior-interior details and features. The video also includes details about its variants and gives you an idea about which variant to buy.
The Kushaq is available with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter type automatic transmission. It is available in 3 variants -- Active, Ambition and Style.
It is also available with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed DCT. It is the more powerful engine, and produces 150PS of maximum power.

Amazing review as usual,just exchanged Swift for Kushak Active,jumped from 83bhp to 115,and from a hutch back to an SUV,nice and compact car,very stable, luxurious feel of interiors,very smooth,and don't think very small than Creta or Seltos,strong build quality,can have some short comings but that can be found in every car,a perfect car which is acceptable to all is yet to be made!

Reviewing after driving 250 kms - Kushaq is nice to drive and will feel modern and robust. - Overall driving dynamics, ride, steering controls and sharp turn handling is class-leading. Feels too safe and pleasure to drive. - All important security features that we use and are mandatory for safe driving dynamics at 18 lac on-road makes it the best choice. - Unique 2-spoke steering wheel (from Superb, Octavia) - Kushaq though has 385ltr capacity can easily fit the same baggage as Creta/Seltos (claim 400+ ltrs.) - Carbon Steel paint finish looks very nice, upmarket and premium. - 6-speaker audio system is surprisingly crisp and great sound with subwoofer. Negatives: - The steering feels a bit too light even at high speeds and could've weighed up better for more responsive feel though controlling it is precise. - Rear disk break and Digital instrument cluster. - No 6 air bags other than 1.0 MT - this is illogical. - Yes, priced 50k to 70k on the higher side - but performance, safety features (even in base models) and the driving experience of both 1.0 and 1.5-litre TSI variants somewhat justifies the price. I highly recommend Skoda Kushaq for those looking for premium small and powerful compact SUV for its clean design, driving dynamics, safety features and the Skoda brand and who cant afford T-Roc :)

Hello brother, Taigun 1.0 Topline manual vs GT 1.5 manual. Which is better in long run. For GT manual I have to compromise on some very good features but will get a bigger engine. Topline has all features, but concerned about smaller engine. I am getting a good deal for both the vehicles from dealer. Onroad price of both cars is very close. Which is better? Pls suggest.

For a long run.l, i would suggest 1.0 1.5 is imported engine and for long run if the engine faces issue . It will be very very expensive for repairs😂. 1.0 engine is also expensive but comparitively less . If ur gonna have the car for 5-10 years plse forget about 1.5 dct

Vibrations, propel ageing of an assembly. Why a Skoda engine should rattle at idling? Is their three cylinder engine not balanced? Why the rattle? Why the vibrations, for a 16 lakh ( expensive) car?

Creta is giving nothing but charging 50 k less when compared to kushaq base having ORVMS electrically adjustable roof rails telescopic steering sliding hand rest 7 inch infotainment with 6 speakers led cabin and back lights number plate back side led lights and more safety features than creta so for this price it is VFM more than creta I think

1.5 4 cylinder is better, but that engine is imported. If u have any issues in engine in near future. It will cost u ur kidney. Whereas 3cylinder engine is here for a long time . Both are good . Both are expensive. 4 cylinder will be hella expensive thats it

No doubt its a good Car, except for Active variant its expensive for a 1.0 TSI Engine & 4 member Car. Rear Seat Width is same as any other 4 Sub mt C-SUV's. Would rather buy Ecosport VFM loaded Titanium 1.5 Diesal variant than Kushaq.

Hi team, I have booked Kia Seltos IMT last month, however delivery time for seltos is very high also the feedback for seltos which I have received for Seltos is not good. Now I am confused should I wait for seltos IMT or should I book Skoda kushaq 1.0 AT ambition. I have test drived both the cars. Features wise toh I like seltos however bulid and premium feel is in skoda. Drive quality was good better in seltos coz there is little lag in initial stage of skoda. Price difference in both the cars is almost of 2lac+ so shld I wait for seltos or is it worth to spend 16.5 lac on Kushaq my driving is majorly in city and on every 15days it is on highways. Dil say toh i am interested in seltos and dimag say skoda. Pls suggest 😀

S-Cross doesn't have ESP, TCS, HAC and most importantly it's not really as safe as others SUVs in comparison. I would rather suggest XUV300 or Ecosport

@@gautamsanyal4527 the current s cross isn't the same S cross that used to be sold a few years ago. The previous model used a similar platform to the international model. Nowadays it's made using the Hearttech platform that underpins the S-Presso and we all know how bad that car's build quality is. Then again it is your choice in the end.

u drive a swift u drive an scross they will all feel the same. My father told this after owning swift for 11 years and driving the partners s cross. I am not sayng thats a bad thing but the SUVs are meant for rough and tough and should give you a sense of dominance when you hit the pedal

Was expecting a lot more from Skoda on this one! The pricing of the 1.0 variant isn’t enticing.. the smaller engine is not giving any benefits. neither fun nor reliable in the long run. The Honda city becomes a lot more appealing right now IMO.

Hi V3 As per your suggestion I went for DZIRE ZXI and I am happy (Have driven it around 20k )... It is evident that sedans are not suitable for indian roads, so I am planning to buy a mid size SUV! .. (safari, hector plus segment) Should I wait for XUV 700?? As per the leaks it will have around 200HP Turbo Petrol and 185HP diesel engine producing 360 NM Torque... It will also be offered with some segment first features (list is long).. My Ques is...
