VW/Skoda Brands should realize that, not every1 needs TSI engines in such an overcrowded country.. Daily commuters, cab drivers, old age people, etc do not need such powerful engines which only you are providing in india.. "Affordability" in every aspect is the most valuable point which is considered among Indian car market while purchase.. But apart from that, Sunderdeep Sir genuinely try his best to educate & convince people abt VFM cars(most of his recommendations are VAG) as he himself has them & he has plenty of experience also.. If you ignore and fail to honour such a diamond like personality, then its your own loss.. Regarding the AC vent on Slavia, I actually find the position very comfortable to me. I don’t like and don’t find it comfortable when I the AC vent blows directly on my face or neck. So for me the AC placement of Slavia is the best I have experienced in my 30 years of driving.

You are right Sunderdeep Ji from a sales PoV. You are on spot and you are one of those daring lion who doesn't hesitate to face some biased journalists who spread unnecessary fear and wrong facts to further their own agenda. But, here's an alternative perspective which I have as a lover for well engineered cars of any brand: Instead of stooping down to avg. customer's understanding in India and becoming another Hyundai or Mahindra or TATA losing out on the VW Skoda - Ness, rather retain the VW Skoda DNA and not try to be everything. You either appeal to the Target Audience who understand cars, proactively maintain them and love pressing the pedal and feel the raw power even from point A to B daily. Or, you can choose to target audience of 40+ who are risk averse and are spoilt of Maruti /Hyundai ownership for decades and slack on maintenance, don't care about performance or mechanical specs and have to submit to the demand of kids and wives for Panasonic sunroof, Air purifier, Ambient Lights, Inferior mechanicals, ADAS. You can't play defensive to be successful. You can either try to be another car rich with features but inferior on mechanicals, OR you can be rich on Dynamics, Mechanicals, Fundamentals while giving basic important features alongside it for mature audience. "A brand which tries to be everything often ends up being nothing" . - some stupid genius! The same reason why VW Skoda 2.0 cars get critisized by some people because these get compared to 1.0 cars. (although the double standards are that those same folks never appreciated 1.0 cars when they existed. Also social media penetration and influencer marketing was 0 back then so can't blame the Brand totally). As a lover of well engineered cars from any brand, I would love to see the identity of Skoda VW to be stuck to core European with their strengths which have been there for a decade rather than diluting it to something which is neither Hyundai or Maruti nor True VW Skoda. Otherwise what's the point of having global OEMs in India if every other global OEM in the quest of reaching sales target dilute their core DNA to become another Maruti. That's not what we need from long term PoV. As Indians, we need, brands to teach us what can we can become rather than brands becoming something else. Even if sales will be little low and market share not that great but having an option with DNA of sorted robust superior car with best safety, mechanicals and nifty European bits which no other brand can offer completely and truly is what will retain a brand's DNA and identity and with generational shift and more risk friendly and explorative audience, adopters will eventually come. We need to become a more mature car market than car brands becoming immature for us. Educational Journalism needs to happen more and more and people need to stand for the merits of these cars rather than being scared of being trolled as a fanboy. Proudly boast about merits of these cars. It is what it is. Fanboys only become fanboys of brands who have sonething to become fan of. Not because they dilute their core to become something else just for sales. I wish to see more mature automobile consumerism rather than mature brands becoming immature to capture market share of immature market.

I'm wondering if it would make sense to replace my Polo with this. While I'm happy with my Polo, Kylaq might offer some improvements in overall stance, legroom, and boot space. I have a 2016 Skoda Rapid, and I’m facing an EPC issue. Whenever the EPC light comes on, the accelerator stops working completely. The service center has no clue about the root cause and is saying they need to open up the engine, quoting over ₹1 lakh for the repair! This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. If this is the kind of service and reliability Skoda offers, I’d strongly advise against buying a Skoda vehicle. Never again!

We wish great success for Skoda KYLAQ as they have offered best 1.0 TSI engine, Well built body shell Safety & Driving Dynamics. Apart from buyers, fail to understand why they could not offer on Signature Variant Hill hold Control, Reverse Camera, Electrical adjustable ORVMs, Rear Wiper-Washer. These are basic features available on almost all ₹10 lacs Small Cars. KYLAQ Customers can buy Alloy Wheels or upgrade Infotainment System if the want. But cannot buy or install Hill hold Control.

they should make package systems like canada or europe have if somebody dont want those extra features like 360 cam radar based adas they wont buy those but atleast the brand should make such packages to avoid the warranty if someone wants a kushaq and after few days he feels like he missed the 360 camera or adas features he can atleast go to the service centre and have them on it in future if his budget allows and let these packages costly doesnt matter one day the owner will come and have that features just a simple thing they need to launch these package and let their cars make like they are making no changes but should have these packages that if one wants it he can go for that it will increase the sales too

Within the same price bracket, the 3XO outperforms the Kylq in 8 out of 10 scenarios. It is a superior choice, whether for a family, an enthusiastic driver, or even as a chauffeur-driven vehicle.

Mahindra has all the features on paper with lot of niggles and loads of reliability issues I am a Mahindra owner with several vehicles , it does the job well but when it comes to a proper vehicle I think the brand skoda is way better in terms of everything in the vehicle except for service issues which is expensive, but Mahindra service is also a ripoff but skoda is a better vehicle anyday and Mahindra is anyday awesome in advertisements and paper only

60 km service centre waale point par Main apna experience share karna chahta hoon. Hamare paas Skoda Rapid 1.6 TDI hai. Devbhoomi Skoda Mandi hamare Ghar se>60km hai. Par wo hamein pick and drop service provide karte hain, for service or other repair works. Really appreciate their support. Driving pleasure, handling of Rapid is awesome.

My understanding from all the reviews 1. Reverse camera is poor 2. NVH level is poor 3. Should put at least 4 parking sensors 4. Mileage may be poor. Now compare this to Syros….it may be slightly costlier but difference is too big. This is the root cause of why VW/Skoda is loosing out to Hyundai and Kia, they provide all the features and they are also improving safety and driving dynamics

in 2013 or 6R polo models even they have radar based adas or whatever it was like front collision systems and in india i agree that polo gonna cost 16 lacs if we got full fleshed european polo so we cant expect a skoda vw car with those exceptional features in india in price range of 12-20 lacs even in canada few vw cars get those features but yes they are called as tech package or something like that i mean its optional and yes vw skoda has a brand value that they wont give like these extra features in regular models yes in canada we have vw golf but that golf is just like a regular indian polo it has no 360 or adas in it and only get a regular speed dials with manual controls small rims and a 1.8 tsi manual or dsg i guess not sure about the gearboxes but in GOLF GTI it has all the features you want with auto park assist features like automatic steering movement and car movement in that feature and then comes GOLF R which is 20k cad dollars expensive than GTI but it doesnt get any radar based adas but have camera based adas but with nooooo auto park assist but meanwhile they give a 2.0 tsi 4 motion in thst extra 20k dollas

if they will make a bs6 diesel it might be having more problems like they used to have in dsg 1.5 TDI in polo vento so they dont wanna waste their profits same is the case with CNG or FLEX FUEL engines of VW yes they exist in some countries but they are not made in a proper handling their are alot of issues in CNG and flex engines of VW but a panoramic sunroof in these 5 cars is must but with a different variant like they used to do with kushaq and should make a monte carlo with 1.5 TSI but should make in a mid variant with regular sunroof and top variant with only panoramic roof then it would be a defintely polo replacer and worth money and now they have to make facelift of these old 4's kushaq taigun and 2 sedans

Looks wise very nice build quality verry nice. Reliability ok. Price is also ok. When we compare with Honda elevate it seems Honda elevate is better option when It comes to service network and reliability and milage and comfort and practicality. So go for Honda elevate.

He has zero knowledge about potential VAG ground customer & dealership data. VW sold 42,000 cars last year and Skoda sold around 34,000. VWs service reputation & ecosystem is better because of the Polo. Yes, some diversification is needed but babbling just because you have numbers of followers doesn’t mean you always make sense. The grudges against VW because they doesn’t invite him to their conferences is visible.

How can skoda not give Hill hold function on an automatic? Its a crime really. Also I see the price difference between each variant is more than 2 Lacs onroad which is crazy. Which means only Base variant comes as VFM and Top variant is more than 16 Lacs onroad with missing features like 360 deg camera, ADAS and few other features.
