It was indeed a very meaningful discussion. Navjot spoke about the things which brand should seriously consider. European brands on the other hand have blamed for poor sales by saying that it was a mistake to launch over engineered cars for India. When they say so, they become complacent and don't brain-storm to find the actual cause to improve the brand value and sales People are moving to hybrid. For every suv, there exists a sedan that's better in everything except ground clearance which is less and less valuable on daily basis. I wanted to have ventilation and better sound system so i went for verna but i openly recommend city over any suv. And when i was looking at SUVs for a friend because he didn't want a sedan, and this is what i found nothing could beat a verna or city in features safety resale service, vw twins for performance but kisi suv ka acha variants uuse budget mei nahi betha, 16 on road is verna ka NA sxo mannual, city ka bhi aas paas hai and itne mei aa rahe the mid/low end variant of creta seltos, brezza toh dekhi hi nahi too avg. And safety mileage ko L lage hi rehte in gadiyo ka

Bhai dil to sedan hi lena ka krta hai , lekin is bar ki barish ne jo delhi me roads ka haal kiya hai bs pucho mat. Logo ki crossover niche se lag rhi thi to sedan ka to matlab hi nhi banta bachne ka.😅

Its not about features, trust me, its all about value for money offering. They are offering cars similar to size of hatchbacks in segment of Creta ! In current India you just can't sell on `build quality`. There are lot of other cars offering that already and lot more in same segment and price. If a customer is upgrading from a hatchback to a mid size SUV segment, then he has no option other than CRETA (Build quality improved, Features are best compared to even a 50 lakh car, Price is highly competitive)), SELTOS (Big on features but poorest build quality, just a toy), JEEP COMPASS (best build quality and highway drivability but very over priced and no basic features like park assist, front sensor or even blind spot monitor in 40 lakh) insane . Period ! Now when people talk about drivability : Any car that is compact will obviously have better cornering and quality compared to a bigger car (thats basic science). Now making your cars compact and then selling it in mid suv segment and then saying it has best drivability in segment. It can do better !

Sunderdeep sir , your reviews of a product are fantastic. I want to upgrade from a 10 year old honda city petrol And confused between the mid size suv segment budget is around 20 lakhs. Pls suggest . My heart is set on the Vw taigun or skoda kushaq but bit afraid of the DSG reliability issues. Don’t want the Koreans either as they are oversold in the market. Test drove the hybrid hyryder but the car feels so cramped from inside and the sunshade is pathetic
