EU just got the new Octavia vRS and now Skoda is selling their outdated model at a fortune to Indian customers, I've always wondered why Automakers consider us as second class. Despite our bad driving manners, economy, rules etc 😛, India is still a huge market though.

Actually the on road price of Skoda Octavia RS245 comes up to 45.28 lakhs(on-road price bengaluru) while the BMW 330i sport is 53.3 lakhs (on-road price bengaluru) which is the entry level model. Not to mention it has a less enthusiastic engine and misses out on most of the features and is less spacious than theRS 245. So its probably more worth buying than a BMW 3 series entry level vehicle well Unless brand value is what your looking for🙄. As far as the 330i m-sport is concerned, its around 62 lakhs (on-road price bengaluru)......just saying😗🤑 Well, Skoda has its own issues like its poor service in terms of availability of parts...... ok now I'm just rambling 😹😹

Would whoop a 330i at track, that car has soft suspension no LSDs its not as hardcore as this, and no one leaves their RS245 stock all of them push over 300hp

11L more for acceleration difference of under half a second and larger wheels, it's expensive..hike of 4-5 L was acceptable for the little more it offers than the out going one

The earlier one was miles ahead the better buy. The updated version of rs is accessible abroad at a much cheaper price. This update in India however, does not get the same level of updates.

330i,q3, gla 250, camry hybrid, at first level M340 i sport, mercedes 63 amg And the most awaited glb 250 or 35 are the only cars to go for 1st level between 50 to 60 o r price and 2nd level at 80- 1.10 cr or price

Car isn't for price sensitive buyers,most of the Rs245 sold will be tuned to reach insane numbers,330I doesn't have such tune friendly engine,and given the fact that stage 2 mods will themselves cost sub 5 lacs,11 lacs won't be that big a stretch for such,its not a surprise that this one will sell out as it is for money no object buyers,and its still somewhat value😂it can easily get around 440bhp,car cost 45 mods approx 15,its still much cheaper then any amg or m car and faster then sub 1 cores cars,nonetheless,sensible choice is bmw,for daily useage,tuners will pick rs245,rest of us will wait till the end of next year to wait for mk4 rs245 hopefully via Ckd route.(Although very uncertain that will come or not given emissions and taxes).

I just don’t understand why you would recommend this over the 330i Msport. Any driving enthusiast will concur the 3 series is much more of a driver’s car barring performance which the octy matches. The rwd and steering/ high speed stability - everything in bmw is better. Also this rs is incredibly overpriced.
