Cassie, I'm glad to hear you slept well. I am interested in the folding beds you bought. We are considering one for the spare room as we don't have overnight company very often. It was comfy?

When we owned our motorhome, I took & bought the samething I had in our house that I was dragging out of our house. This made life easier. This is just an idea. We enjoyed being self contained & enjoyed our privacy & could ride our Quads @ anytime. Will Need to get large water jugs that U can put out when U get to were U are staying without facilities. Your family will have so much fun & enjoyment. We found getting away even for a few days gets everyone refreshed. Loved your live unfortunately I'm watching later. God Bless 🙏🧡🙏

Also having facilities for all such as rest rooms, showers, picnic tables, etc. if you could find one with a few hiking trails might be nice if anyone likes that! Enjoy the rest of your trip and look forward to your next one this week!!! 😊❤️ 🌞🌻🍀

We have used the propane buddy heaters for when our power went out in winter storms. They kept my Grandma who was on hospice comfortable (very big deal!) And there's of the House warm and comfy for a full day with no strain or worries. I do recommend using the bigger size tanks with the attachment to accommodate them. It helps the tanks run longer and the heater to run at just a small amount higher heat without draining the tank too fast.

When you were talking about using a nightlight in the bathroom a AA/AAA battery or usb sensor light popped in my mind. My mom uses them under her kitchen cabinets and in other areas of her home, so that when she gets up during the night, she can walk around her home without needing to carry a flashlight or her cellphone with her. I believe she bought them from Amazon, and they're sold as under the cabinet sensor lights. The sensor lights are (approximately)4-6" long and 2" wide.

I drove school buses for 13 years in Boise during the nineties, and getting a CDL was so many driving hours plus knowing air brakes. It was paid for by the district. Receiving my passenger endorsement came some years later. The hoops seasoned drivers now have to jump through, in my opinion, creates income for the governing agencies-a sort of ongoing gravy train.

I have a solution for your night light problem. Several years ago I bought a pack of two small night lights from Amazon. Brand is Auvon. I bought them for travel as they are quite small and pack well. They are rechargeable (I have only needed to recharge them 3 times in the three or four years that I have had them), and magnetic. When I am not traveling, I use them in my house. I have a long, dark, L-shaped hallway. I have two bathrooms that are hard to find in the dark, and we do not like to switch on the lights at night. My house has metal doorframes, so I put one at each bathroom door. They are sensor lights, so they pop on whenever they detect movement in the hallway. They have two brightness settings, and can be set to auto, on all the time, and off. You could put one low to the floor in the area where the kids sleep, and second by the bathroom door. You could even put some in the bathroom. They only stay on for a minute, just enough to find your way to or from the bathroom, then shut off. They will go on again when you come out of the bathroom. And. If you do not have anything metal to attach them to, they come with little metal plates to attach to where you want them.

I'm so glad you guys got to take your first camp out with the bus. Who cares what color it is. You know if the paint it still good I'd keep it and paint a large mural on both sides, one fishing and boating, other side racing and sports, the back farm life. That would be so awesome. No need to repaint the entire bus. Yes logo and channel is perfect.

Instead of shelving, you might consider a "peg board" with attachment hooks or prongs to hang mini- plastic baskets for personal items. Hooks will also be handy for clothes and/or towels.

A few years ago we had straight line winds that knocked out electric lines, power poles, trees, etc.. We were without power for over a week. The temps were low. A friend of ours brought his ventless Mr. Heater. It was amazing. After a couple of hours I turned Ed down the flames on the Lowe’s test setting, opened the bathroom door, and eventually had to open the hallway door. You hook up the 22# grill propane to the heater. It all stays inside. We kept it on mostly at night and never used up the one tank. Needless to say, I ordered a 20,000 btu from Amazon. I also got the one with blue flames. You could probably heat schooly with a 10,000.

I have AA battery operated small motion lights around the house so I don’t have to turn on the lights on the way to the bathroom. They’re mounted about 18” from the floor. The batteries last a pretty long time considering they come on a few times a night when they sense us near them. I also have ones mounted over the door knobs to my entrance because there are no lights over the door and I rent so paying an electrician to put them in was more than I was willing to spend. These were cheap to buy and cheap to run on 2 AA batteries. I got them on Amazon. Might be a good option for the bathroom. As long as there is movement they stay on and for about 1 minute after. You can mount them with screws or with the double sided tape. Might be a good, cheap option for the bus too instead of drawing power for a nightlight.

Just a suggestion that I learned from experience. Put anything mice can get into in an airtight container. I saved all the plastic jars with screw on lids from those peanut butter/pretzel snacks and they work great. They are square and easy to store. Especially anything sweet is a big attraction to all critters.

If you put a shelf up in the bathroom drill holes in the shelf large enough to slide your toothbrushes through each hole according to the size of each one. They won’t slide off and you won’t have to worry about them falling off on the floor while you are driving.

Amazon has battery operated or a rechargeable nightlight that are motion activated. I used them in my house because it’s 72 years old. I have begin to have a habit of trying to fall when the power goes off and I walked through the house. My lights come up really cheap. You get them for like $16 rechargeable you stick them in the stick to the wall in the bathroom no more light.
