TBF that's a standard non-custom truck, the guy in the video stated they typically make them custom, so odds are most rich people willing to spend $1 Million on a truck would get it customized and not buy the standard version that is very likely missing features they want or has features they couldn't care less about.

@@TrolloTV Well, a fully custom Unicat will hit the 1M price tag, too. But it will have auto-inflate, 1m+ wading capability, and the most important bit of all. Serviceability. It was a different brand but the KZbin channel donut did an off road test with one of these types of trucks and the camper actually snapped and broke off the truck I would imagine this one is about the same durability look at how it wobbles when he drives. It’s def not even close to $1M

@@HarryANuis-gi9hzLol the camper didn't fall off, the drive shaft failed. As you said, it wasn't produced by EarthRoamer, and while I am not a fan of EarthRoamer, their vehicles are clearly designed better than the camper in the Donut vid.

I'm a fan of the Destination Adventure channel, where Dustin Porter has laboriously built his own truck camper from an old Dodge truck and a used camper, with various custom modifications, for probably less than 1/10th budget of this...thing. I like Dustin--he has a great sense of humor, and when his rig breaks he gets out the tools and fixes it himself. And he goes to really remote places, like a town that is on the Arctic ocean, about as far north as you can go via road. What I wonder about this million-dollar truck is, what happens when it breaks? Does the owner know how to fix it? As another commenter observed, it's a camper for people who don't like camping. Driving a rig like this into really remote, rough areas could be a crap shoot--it has so much electronic stuff on it that could easily go sideways when exposed to the elements. No, I think this truck is something you show off in an RV park--"golly gee, look at that!"--as you settle into bed with a movie on the TeeVee. A camper for the iPhone-tablet crowd. I'll lay off of our host Mav--he's just making a living doing a channel. Brought to you by....

Even if you're not a Chevy guy the Duramax/Allison is just about the best platform you could start off with for a truck build like this. That being said, I don't think the quality is there in my eyes to justify that price tag. Although just the diesel truck on it's own without any of the camper stuff or expensive tech is probably $100k.

Mav, the next time you cook the potatoes and the asparagus start the potatoes in a foil pouch with the seasoning and a bit of butter after 20 minutes open up the pouch and let them start to roast and get caramelized. We like them with onion, garlic, sea salt, rosemary, and either fresh cracked pepper or seasoned pepper. Don't start the asparagus until after you opened the foil pouch. Toss them in a bit of olive oil, sea salt, fresh minced garlic or granulated garlic, A bit of black garlic and some cracked pepper and cook them until they are nicely caramelized because they will be the best tasting asparagus that you have ever tasted. We love roasting cauliflower, Brussel sprouts and fresh garlic that I thinly slice. I use sea salt, cracked pepper, black garlic, and toss with olive oil and roast at 375 for 20-25 minutes they should be fork tender. One of our local restaurants got us hooked on roasting vegetables this way and it has become a family favorite. My Mom, bless her couldn't cook vegetables that tasted good and as a result my siblings and I would never eat broccoli, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts. My husband was a very picky eater and rarely ate vegetables until he met me. Our daughter was and still is a picky eater due to texture issues and the fact that both of them request that I make the vegetables I mentioned at least twice a week. Give it a try and see what you think.
