One thing I loved about the event was the range of builds. There were a lot of rigs that were not picture perfect Instagram model homes, and that made me feel much better about where I am in my build. It would be really great to see a video that features some of those.

I hope some of the folks attending are planning to stay behind for a clean-up when everyone leaves! We were camping down by Roadrunner a few years ago when they all showed up then when they left there was trash and feces everywhere. It wasn't there before either because we took walks every day all through that entire area. It was pretty disgusting when they left. Almost as disgusting as the day after Burning Man.

It was pretty clean when we left, which was after most people. We have trouble with trash and glass at nearly every BLM spot we visit. That’s the downside of free public use. But, it keeps it accessible for everyone, and that’s a good thing. So, we try and pick up some garbage everywhere we stay. There are no official services at these places, so it’s up to all of us to take care of our public lands!

Yes. The Texas dmv website has everything you’ll need. Start here: www.txdmv.gov/motorists/assembled-vehicles Then download the assembled vehicle manual from the site. Has info on what you’ll need to have.

Great question. We called several companies. They all had different answers, and it’s even changed since we first got our coverage. Unfortunately, every state is different and every company differs in what they’ll cover. The only advice I can give us to just start calling insurance companies.
