Day Crawlers are a unique mythological creature made as a counterpart to the Night Crawler by SAP. The Deer Lord is a combination of mythos as a Celtic God, and a tribal rendition of the largest Red Deer. The horned Celtic god “Cernunnos” frequently wears stag antlers or horns and may have hooves, the stag being the lord of the forest and symbolic of strength, speed, and virility. The Red deer is the largest surviving wild mammal in Scotland. It makes an impressive sight even when seen at a distance, and an adult measures between 105-120 cm in height at the shoulder. (There are multiple perspectives of how they view the Red Deer, but the majority of them represent the pet as a symbol of The Hunt.) The Deer God does tend to be on the leaner side, as a 100 gram serving contains 102 calories, 2.6 grams of fat and 19.5 grams of protein. It is also PACKED with amino acids, making it a nutritious source of food.

I find that the Wendigo (Better known as Deer Lord) works well with Owl. When you end your turn, it kills what's in front of it, opening up a slot for the Owl's mouse next turn.

There definitely is a tactic around getting the Daycrawler! You can build a team for one explosive turn to summon as many pets as possible in the shop before pilling your level 3 Nightcrawler. It's a fun challenge! Even if you don't want to do all that, even just changing the order you did things in your turn when you got your first Daycrawler would have given it better stats when summoned--you missed out an extra health by pilling before combining and summoning.
