In the most tragic time of the sport, there were SOOO many great feel good moments in connection to Dale. Really made it,in my mind, one of the greatest years of Nascar;possibly the last. You had Mikey's first win in his first ride for Dale, Steve wins the race after for DEI, Kevin wins 3 races after Daytona, Dale's ol buddy Rusty wins on Dale's birthday, Dale JR takes the july race, bobby hamilton wins the first restrictor plate race after Dale's death in a race where there were NO cautions. Just SOOO much made it memorable. Miss these days...

2001 was probably the worst , yet best year for NASCAR and for the world to date period. Death of Dale brought feel good moments like you said to NASCAR and the fans, and then Dale Jr winning Dover after 9/11 made for a patriotic moment and emotional moment for us fans and Americans

this win for steve was definitely meant to be. just like harvick's win at atlanta and jr.'s win at the pepsi 400. all of them were special. and andy hillenburg is a hero for bringing this track back to life. NASCAR needs to come back here. and you are absolutely right... joey logano is one of the best :)

You can credit that to Andy Hillenburg, a driver, he wanted to bring racing back to the Rock and he did, the winner the race of course went to Joey Logano who will possibly be one the best in the future.
