Wolff makes this spring kit too and they also include a hammer spring for half the price of the MCarbo. Works great too.

Your sear angle wasnt bad at all. My 1969 type 56 straight out of the box had no sear engagement and would fire full auto.. debated replacing it entirely but was able to grind it down and fix it.

I put the 2.5lb spring in my Bubba SKS. It uses Archangel LVX mags with the built in release. One of my mags started falling out when I fired. I think that spring is to weak for that mag, so I will be installing the 3.5lb spring to see, if It fixes It. Made the trigger awesome through.

Another good video from H.G.G! How about a vid on the next stage of trigger improvement? Like a minor (teeny tiny) sear adjustment?

I got my sear a little 'too' perfect. Had to shave off the rear of the sear rails. now.... it's crisp af. Banging it around and can't get it to fire on it's own.

Hey i watched your video and it was knowable and i subscribed! I wanna tell you my opinion on if you've placed your rifle into vice instead of holding it in your hand and didn't move it it would have given other result 😎

Any idea why my norinco trigger has so much slack? It literally wobbles side to side. It drives me crazy.

That’s how a lot of the Russian ones look. Is this a Russian model?

More like $500 to $1,000ea. But ammo, is rare and expensive too. But I paid $120 a piece for 2 rifles in the 1990s. When ammo was $3.99 for 20rnds.

They are listed right now down the road from my house at $279.99 CAD. The only people who have ever paid that much for an SKS is folks in America

sad because the maker of the spring's install vid shows a BEFORE spring pull pressure test at a little over 4 lbs. AFTER spring install, just a little over 2 lbs. How is YOUR after install lb test same as their BEFORE TEST lbs? You never tested it on camera before the install so how do we know the benefit. Kind of an ill thought vid concept. Sure, lb pulls will vary gun to gun but if yours was 6lb, now down to 4...well that is in concert with the other vid's change.

Did you have any issues with the mag release tension being too light, and releasing during recoil?
@Huntinggearguy3 жыл бұрын
I have not had any issues like that.
@woopedpup3 жыл бұрын
I did. I had to switch to the 3.5lb spring. There are some people that are experiencing the mag release during recoil as well so it can be an issue. My recommendation is to try the lighter one and then see if you have an issue. If so, put in the heavier one.
