I bought my first airbrush this week, and I have to say, your videos have been immensely helpful - from paint types to maintenance to brushing techniques, you have helped me get my feet wet before I even begin. Thank you!

I aint gonna lie man. I live in Michigan and Michigan is a legal state for cannibas. I like to indulge and when i do i can really get into these vids. Not only as a air brush novice, but as someone who loves being artistic. Im rambling aren't i? Well......like i said i live a legal state. Any way, back to my point. There is something about watching someone else do something amazing that is satisfying and inspirational. So thanks for that .

Just moving on from iwata neo which would you recommend for next move stuck between iwata eclipse iw-ecl-cs 0.35 or creos ps289 0.3 cheers Steve
@AirbrushAsylum3 жыл бұрын
I love both the eclipse and the PS.289 the only thing to consider is the pro for the 289 is the Mac valve however the negative (this is purely personal preference) is the angled trigger, it doesn’t bother me but some people have said they don’t like it ...either choice will be fine just go with the brush you feel is most comfortable and suits you best. You can have a look at my PS289 vid which may help 👉🏻kzbin.info/www/bejne/amalmmOpn7aSZ6c

I never tried to paint on canvas.... do you use a gesso or something similar for the base?
@herbiewolfe14243 жыл бұрын
Hello again. Do you use your trigger stop adjustment to limit your trigger range when making the fine lines?
@AirbrushAsylum3 жыл бұрын
No , I wind it all the way out and just control the trigger 👍🏻

What's the best paint to use on a car I heard tattoo ink
@stinkyham90503 жыл бұрын
Is this a good project to start learning airbrush art? I've used airbrushes for years on scale models and props but never art. I mostly using them for priming, base coat and weathering a bit. I've never even attempted to do a dagger stroke. I've got an Iwata eclipse so I've got the hardware but no skills yet.

What air pressures are you using on the piece? I know thickness of paint has influence. But still,
@AirbrushAsylum3 жыл бұрын
About 30 psi for this one and lower pressure set on the Mac valves for the detailing 👍🏻

Is reducer the same as airbrush paint thinner?
@AirbrushAsylum3 жыл бұрын
Yes same thing just different names , it depends on the brand of paint and how they name it , just follow the instructions recommended by the manufacturer and then fine tune your mix and psi until you are happy with the ratio , this vid may help 👉🏻kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5rTmpuur9SNisU

background music was a bit much
@AirbrushAsylum3 жыл бұрын
Fair enough...I try my best to break it up and only have the tracks running for a little while then change it up ...but understand not everyone will love the music choices, but I feel it definitely enhances the overall viewing experience rather than just silence and the airbrush sound 🤔
