Is this really any cooler than a good mesh jacket? I get the stealth appeal of it, but as someone that has several mesh jackets, I'm wondering if it's worth the investment.
@ChopperFett Жыл бұрын
In all honesty most of the Kevlar mesh jackets will be similar, I just happen to like the flannel design. Def worth an investment in safety

Considering what time of year is coming, I'll probably wait till spring to get the mesh, I have been thinking about it though. Even the regular flannel seems to flow pretty good air.

That looks really good! I have a RevIt mesh one, I love it. I don’t want to sound like your dad but you should wear a back protector, from all of those; that is probably the most important one when it comes to absorbing hits. With that said, I hope you never need it.

Did you choose to size one size higher to accommodate CE pads - or did you keep your street clothing size since it's a more relaxed fit? Cheers ride safe
@ChopperFett2 жыл бұрын
So I really just used their size chart. I’m a big guy so my rev clothes I like to be like 5x and this was a 4XT and I still have room to spare inside it. Now for Regular size folks they do say to size up. REGULAR LENGTH SHIRTS(Heights up to 190cm) Choose one size up

The added padding and kevlar are really good items to have. I wish though a flannel company would put on waterproof coating so help shed light rains.

Thatd make a lot of sense. The pockets on the front are built that way

Awesome!!! I really do love mine. I feel “safer” knowing there is Kevlar and armor in there. Won’t save me at 80mph but might survive with less injuries on my normal rides. This had been my morbid comment for the day hahah.

@@ChopperFett I just feel better riding with gear...but I'm not expecting it to save from my stupid-ness either 😉 I have a Street & Steel Armored flannel(probably made in the same factory as Skull Riderz). Its nice piece of gear for cool temps but it has no air flow and will cook me in the heat.
