I've had these for a little over a month, I upgraded from the Evo and I love them for the most part. My only complaints are that the stay aware mode doesn't work if you're listening at anything over 25% volume, the folding capability is useless because it causes the cord to pull out over the course of 1 week of consistent use(no change from the Evo), and the buttons didn't work to skip songs when I got them but they do have a "button settings" feature in the app so that was easily resolved. Other than those few small things, I love them.

@@H-iw4iq the ANC 2s have better bass performance, but it's barely noticeable. The mic quality is the biggest difference I noticed, the Crusher Evo had a muddy, underwater sound when using the mic, the ANC 2 has a nice, clear mic. My Evos started to put out less and less bass around 3 months into using them, I've had my ANC 2s for about a year and I can say, with confidence, that I'd NEVER go back to the Evos.

@@H-iw4iq as far as how customizable the ANC 2s are, there's a new app that *should*, eventually, have additional features, making them even more customizable. As of right now you can do everything you could do with the Evos, plus the option of button settings, and ANC modes, its already more customizable then the Evos.

I like your review. This is the best review on youtube so far. You also talk about disadvantages 👍👍👍. I'm mainly interested in brutal bass. If you say that the ANC 2 has about the same bass like Crusher EVO , then I will not buy the ANC 2. I myself have original Crusher ANC and Crusher EVO. Original Crusher ANC has more brutal bass than more careful Crusher EVO. I especially like that Original ANC has strong bass even at lower volume. I always have to turn up the Crusher Evo a little louder to get more bass.

I watched this video *after* buying a pair on eBay. I was between this and the Sony ones with a similar price point and features, I went to Best buy no less than three times to try on headphones and change my mind a million times but I went for these because they're FUN I'm glad to hear they work okay for podcasts because I'm going to need to use them for online school a lot as well.

Wish to see more reviews for bass headphones. It could be nice to know for example how the acoustic bass compares to other popular headphones considered "bassy" such as maybe Sony WH-1000XM4, WH-1000XM5 (but with Clear Bass enabled in the app), MDR-XB950BT, WH-XB900N, WH-XB910N, JVC HA-XC90T, JVC HA-XC91T etc. And then the haptic side of bass - Razer makes headphones with rumble effect for example.

Not sure about the ANC 2s as I don't own them, but the Evos are tuned to not have much acoustic bass since most of the thump comes in the haptics.

I watched your other review on the Evo’s and got those. They weren’t loud enough so I returned them, but I’m ordering the ANC 2 next week! I believe I try those out a couple months ago at a store, but got them mixed up between the Evo and ANC 2

How loud do you listen to music? I never went above 80% on my ANC and if I was hitting anything close to 80% it's because I was outside in a loud place. Are the Evo underpowered?

@@Christopher._M usually I like listening to very heavy bass and music at the loudest volume possible. I believe the Evo’s I received were under powered! At 100% bass and volume it felt like maybe 70-80%. But the ANC 2 was perfect! I’ve had them for 3 months and the EQ app is perfect at 100% everything I can barely hear people next to me which is great! ANC 2 is more comfortable for long wear butttt after 4 hours they get heavy. They are very durable

@@manim5844 The ANC 2's headphones reach 100 DB's at full power. From the skull candy website the EVO's reach 99 decidable. You might have ear damage from loud music. I recommend you check your ears so it doesn't lead to something more severe as you age.

Do you know if there's any way to turn off the robot voice bass indicators and the max bass beep alert in the app or something? i bought two different pairs of these (returned the first ones to get another) and both of them had the same problem when the bass is really high on certain songs the left ear like slightly rattles? i have no clue why but i’m just wondering if anyone else has had that problem, since i’ve seen nothing about it online, yet it’s happened with two different brand new ones.

Had these since march and watched hundreds of reviews before i bought them, including yours. They are very good, i would not buy them for the anc though, it is trash even conpared to some $100 wireless headphones i tested. But the sound is very good. The sound stage seems very closed in which some might not like. Also, i have experienced no static. Thats probably just a glitch in the older releases. Ive dropped these headphones 3 times from head height, and they still look brand new. (Except for the ear pieces they look worn out)

They definitely are a slightly beefier than the Hesh ANC, but I wouldn't say it's that big a difference. The ANC 2s just feel like they're built a lot better. I'll be recording a comparison video soon

I think because it was a prerelease model the box has the XT 2 on it, some type of manufacturing mistake. Its the exact same as just the ANC 2 tho

For me they have about the same volume levels. The ANC kinda gives the effect of it sounding louder because you’re not hearing a lot of your surroundings. But not a huge difference

Honestly they're both pretty similar to me. Especially with personal sound setup. I've also heard both sides, some saying ANC 2 had better bass, and some saying Evo. My recommendation would be to buy both on Amazon and return the one you prefer

I really wanted to love these... but they really disappointed me after a few years of using the original Crusher ANC. The bass doesn't hit nearly as hard, and let's be real... that British accent from the assistant makes the originals superior on that alone lol. I did actually prefer the bass slider on the ANC2, rather than the slide on the original... but it's all about how the bass SOUNDS. People, if you want some sick bass, go with the original ANC as they are far superior in their sound quality. Sure you can't ask your original ANC's to "more Crusher" for you... but yeah just my opinion having used both.
