The dimes are the first earbuds I bought, I bought them last year, they are very good. When you put them you do not feel that you have them on they are comfortable and although they do not have ANC with the PNC they have is enough since they cover the ear very well. The sound is excellent, even though they dont cost much. 100% recommended.

I got my dimes a.year ago and they are fine for what I use them for. I have left them in my pocket and ran them in the wash twice and still work after letting them dry

Update, I bought the Dime 2s and can say with confidence, the original Dimes are better. Sound, battery life and overall function. If you already have the original dimes; you are winning.

I like the dime 2 for the smaller design but it hurts that the SKULLCANDY app doesn’t work with them. I feel like the button is TOO small as well on the buds

ta $20-30 range Skullcandy has always delivered for me and the soecs provided is what you should expect for the price. They cut costs where it doesn't matter as much (wireless charging, lower battery, cheap feeling plastic). And even if the battery is lower than pretty much everyone else at $30 10-12hr is more than enough imo. And unlike Apple Airpods I haven't had battery issues after ~300hrs of use. Out of 4 Airpod pairs all have had issues at 300 hrs. I have hd this issue with Apple products across the board (Macbook, iphone, ipod) from 2011-2018. Since then I have dumped them for superior brands with sane pricing.

In the world of audio sound is preference you can like whatever sound profile you want, whether that's no bass or only bass that being said you captured the sound quailty of the dimes in a great light nice job I got a pair of dimes just as a side gift for myself over Christmas about a month ago, and I love them. Skullcandy products generaly try to have a v shaped profile, with a little extra bass kick and a little extra kick in the top ends. I love the sound profile of the Dime. Mids aren't taking over the show, but they are very nice and clear, the top end is noticeable, and there is a bit of a kick in the bass which I really love. The best way to explain the sound profile is almost neutral with a small kick in bass. It's just great. I've noticed that listening to them for extended periods of time, such 3 hours can make your ear hurt a bit, though that doesn't happen very often. They have great noise isolation, which is nice when I just need to tune out the world and focus on my thoughts while doing work, they're light so I barely notice them in my ears, and they have a great fit and form factor. All in all I love my pair of Dime, and I don't think you can get any better for this price point. The Dime 2 is more or less similar. They're basically just a spec upgrade, adding in tile support to find lost earphones and future proofing bluetooth. That's the only difference, and I think it's worth the like $5 extra. I agree with the verdict of this video. If you have Skullcandy Dime already, don't go out and buy the Dime 2, since it's not worth it. If you are looking to buy some cheap true wireless earbuds though, and you don't have anything else, the Dime 2 is a definite win.

I agree with everything you said; just one more upgrade for the dime 2 is they now have a battery 🔋 saver feature for when they are out of the case and you are not using them. Personally the upgrades are not worth the extra money if you already have dime 1s. I am getting a pair of dime 2s just to have a 2nd pair

I have both the Dime & the Nanopods (Altec Lansing) both are ok, but for noise isolation & sound, I'd definitely choose the Nanopods, which can be regularly be found at Best Buy in Canada for under $30, the Dime 1, are normally around $30 in best buy & some other places.

warning! the right earbud has a high tendency to become subject to “volume curse”. meaning the volume no matter what, is slightly less than the left. be careful!

That could be do to the shape of your ears or the wrong tip size for your ear. Tip size makes a big difference.

After returning 3 of them , 1 of the new sets also had to be returned. Lol No joke If you get a good set / pair of them they work fine, sound good and have an ok'ish battery life. All in all too much hassle, next time I'm open for suggestions to any other brands or ?
