Surprised to see these are out there as well. I had a set of the Sesh Evo and enjoyed their sound signature, but wasn't much of a fan of the push-buttons. I will say the design makes it easier to pinch the upper edge and push the buttons which saved from having them push into my ear canals. Thx for taking the time to review and show Skullcandy has made some progress.

Thiz work awesome. The noise cancelling is perfect. I use them at work where its noisy and people on the phone can clearly hear me so im sticking with them. To each their own.

I had these for couple of weeks. Got them for real cheap at Costco. I thought they are ok for the sale price, but decided to go with the JBL 130NC. The JBL has a Better app, better noise canceling and better bass presence.. SK has a lot of catching up to do considering the fierce competition it has from other brands in the TWS department. I like their look, and they were comfortable, but that’s not enough to cut it. Nice review as always sir.

Idk if it happens to you too, but mine also seemed to have some sort of bluetooth interference sometimes, used to scare the shit out of me

JBL earbuds suck. Better to pay a little more and get the Bose, or Sony if your an audiophile versus paying ridiculous prices that JBL wants for their cheap plastic earbuds. At least if I lost or damaged my cheap skull candy earbuds, I just buy another pair sure id be upset but not as much if I wear to pay JBL's unrealistic price tags.

The shape is a bit strange with a bump that can stop it from seating well in the ear but the sound is definitely good for the money, and the build quality is better than some of their past efforts. ANC uses more power so I'm sure that's why the fast charge is less.

In my opinion it is the best bang for you buck when it comes to sound quality, features, app, and price. In all of your testing is there another similar brand that may possibly be slightly better than soundcore?

Main thing you and all the other reviewers don't seem to mention is that the sound quality is terrible without using the EQ app on the phone. The problem with the EQ app is that it only works on Android/iOS and not on pc so the earbuds are terrible for pc.

Does anyone know how to turn off the Noise Cancelling?? My Sesh earbuds screech loud as hell when ANC is connected, but works perfectly fine with only one connected. Everything else works as it should, so i dont want to have to replace them. If need be, ill take them apart and remove the mics, but if theres a better way please let me know asap 🙏🙏

What happens with all the stuff you review? Do you send it back, keep them, collect them, throw them away, give them away, etc? I'm generally curious.....not because I'm asking for a handout or free stuff.....but because I recently took apart a few Bluetooth speakers I have and removed the batteries that were no longer holding a charge. My question is, how do you properly dispose of old tech and old batteries?!? I figured there would be no better person to ask than someone who has tons of old headphones and speakers with built in batteries lol.

I still have sesh in the bottom of my drawer. Compare to my Anker Liberty 2pro and Beats Flex and even to my friend Bose QC buds, the sound is really good. Just 2h battery was poor and charging case had bad design - sometimes one of earbuds was not charged. Overall for 100zł (~$20) which I paid, it was good deal 🙂

I have the Grind Fuel, and they are really good to me. Doesn't have to be Sony or Airpod status to still sound good. App has nice features. Hey Skullcandy mode, and fit very well. I see more "AVERAGE" consumers with these than one would think.

Not by choice. I can afford a good expensive set but i work in a warehouse setting which is not ideal for expensive earbuds or phones. Two of my coworkers including me have all ran over our phones with a forklift. I dont even want to count the times my Skull Candy grind earbuds have fallen on the floor.

They seem much more promising than those ones About your video, I totally agree with your notation for the sound by type of music, and I think that you could add this type of notation for other topics that we cannot evaluate easily like the quality of the anc, or the stability in the ears. I know that it's very subjective, but we cannot take the word of the manufacturers for it. To illustrate my topic, the Xiaomi mi buds 4 was advertised to have a 48 dB anc. A very attractive feature (price around 200$) until I found out a comment saying that the sound was dreadful. Thanks again for your sharing. To my opinion, you make the most authentic evaluation on KZbin, even if I am not always agreeing with your evals. I know that you are having hard times, but keep up on what you do, continue to improve yourself, and focus on what you bring. A breakthrough is often a collection of small steps.

I can confirm this. I had sesh evos and failed. Skullcandy did replace them free of charge and actually paid me more than what I originally did elsewhere since I bought them on sale. So I took my credit and applied to toward the grind fuel. They are great and have a lot of features with a ton of customization. Bad part is they too are having issues now. All was fine since Nov 2021 and then the update came. I did the update it failed and I tried again and that’s when my issues started. The voice control message can repeat up to 4-5 times,battery indicator on case doesn’t display correctly it shows one bar but when I plug it up within seconds it jumps to full. The buds will not auto awake when removing form the case whenever it shows the one bar but works correctly when it’s full bar when plugged up. The earbuds don’t always connect to the app and may take multiple attempts. In my opinion Skullcandy is cheapo brand with decent sound for the price however the software and electric side of things is full of problems. They also do not offer replacement tips when means when you try other replacements they may not fit the case correctly and that creates issues charging and closing. My advice is to just stay away from any Skullcandy products that relies on these. You’d be better off saving your money for a more reliable product elsewhere. Their reliability is so bad Skullcandy lowered their warranty most likely because they were loosing too much money due to their poor reliability.

we had the same problem, One will work but not the other. We redo it and maybe the other one will work but not both at once. They used to both work on our old android samsung but only 1 or the other on iphone. Did yours both work when you sent them back for new ones?

I've tried every recommended fix, several times, as they are hard to monitor, since they want you to see flashing lights while hearing "voice" responses from bud (!), and pressing buttons with poor feedback. I only get erratically selected R or L bud sound when both out of charger and connected. Tried resetting and repairing several times TNTC. I can use the MonoMode, but really just prefer my bone conducting Shokz for that kind of use. hours wasted, but at least now I have learned a lot about BT and TWE. sigh.

With their smaller form factor, I'd compare these to the Soundcore Life Dot 3i/A3i. For the price.. no. Soundcore beats these hands down. I remember when Skullcandy used to be hot, I used to think they were cool as hell. Now, they've gone the way of Buck knives and Mag Lite and got left in the dust. They're struggling to remain relevant and are kind of grasping at straws while trading on their name.
