Yeah that's the intention! The only reason they haven't done it for the other stories is because they were waiting to get the final character down in order to voice all the story stuff in one big session/couple of sessions all at once as a big complete update.

The only problem to why they're likely holding back is the dilemma with Brain Drain, since he was originally voiced by Mike Z, so I imagine they've also been taking time to find someone to be the new voice for Brain Drain.

Marie's voice sounds a little more upbeat than I was expecting. I wasn't sure if it was the same VA until I read the description. Though to be fair, it has been 10 years since Skullgirls was originally released. Her voice might have changed a bit since then. ... Or maybe... [puts on conspiracy hat] maybe, this Marie is different from the Marie that we're used to fighting. Maybe this version of her is actively rebelling against the Skull Heart's influence, and has become less reserved, as portrayed in these new voicelines? Guess we'll have to wait until we see story mode to find out.

Yeah that's what I was suggesting to the devs in the beginning in order for the drama to be put to rest but then the devs had to act like religious zealots when confronted with a different view on the world or religion and proceeded to ask steam to censor the negative reviews rather then learning from them, worst yet you got shills like unofficial meme defending the devs from any and all criticism whatsoever just to use it as an excuse to "own" people, even going as far to mention the changes to filia and try to portray anyone critical of the devs behavior as a "bunch of creeps" even though not every criticism are about the changes to filia or the egrets.

The voice box and art book literally removing $700,000 Just gone after 10 plus years and the way they handled the situation was absolutely terrible! And the one thing that actually isn't true is the devs saying, players dirty socks.... that absolutely was not true but they did nothing in order to quell rumors allowing it to spread like wildfire instead of you know, trying to handle everything professionally.

I think the idle pose could be better I was expecting her to have something more intricate like her boss variant pose, I think it's too flat dimensionally facing too side profile. Also I was expecting her to use her thralls more in her attacks and be more of a zoner for as much as she does that in the boss version, I expected her keepout to be more intense than Peacock.
