Context: The early game is mostly about establishing an offense to clear story mode, daily events and prize fights. So although frayed ends, twisted mettle and just kitten can make decent defenders with proper setting up, they are not going to make this list.

I've heard high-ranking players cite Sheltered as one of, if not the only bronze character worth evolving to diamond. Seriously, increasing crit rate for teammates is THAT valuable, especially when teamed up with variants whose SA's rely on crits. Don't believe me? Try running Purrminator (permanent attack increase with each critical hit) with Sheltered. It's absolutely nuts. Bad Hair Day is my personal favorite bronze. Her SA and the First Cut marquee work SO nicely together and makes her perfect for longshot fights or fights against characters who have shield, regen and/or high base health. I don't know if Fukua was released at the time of this vid, but I think Infernal Twin is also worth investing in, especially if you can't get a silver, gold, or diamond Fukua. Every time you attack an attacking opponent (including counterattacking after blocking a hit) you get a long-lasting enrage AND refresh the duration of all existing enrages. At five stacks of enrage, you inflict fatigue on your opponent if you get hit. She's like Sheltered (both fire types as well), except she can make her 5 stacks of enrage last MUCH longer and doesn't have to worry as much about crit-related abilities on opposing fighters.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Lupine Pummel on Cold Stones. Since every hit on that move counts as an individual chance to stun, it's incredibly easy to trigger the effect with it. It gets even better with Hype mode.

Here's a tip if your new to the game: try getting freaky friday and sheltered. The reason because this is that freaky's SA gives the opponent bleed and armour break when a critical hit happens. Now with the 20% crit chance from sheltered this can be deadly. Also get valentine because forbidden procedure can revive allies when hitting their dead bodies.

I’ve been playing the game for I think a little under a year now. I’m level 56, have about 28 golds and 3 Nat Diamonds, and I haven’t spent a single cent on the game. Trust me when I say that Coldstones will pull you through so much in the early game and is still a part of my main team (which is comprised of Coldstones, Assasins Greed Valentine, and Persona Assistant Robo-Fortune. Definitely worth getting to gold for his sheer power.

Very well made but if I recall correctly I was way deep in my 50s before I got my first gold fighter... I must have been unlucky... Now it's relatively fine and I am trying to level up duplicate bronze and silver fighters for the lower tier prize fights and story mode challenges.

Thankfully i have both bad hair day & sheltered as my strong brinze fighters. I have met Parasoul, but a bronze one AKA Sheltered. She was my one and only Parasoul so i used her as my main bronze fighter whenever i cannot use silver, gold or diamond. I'm currently working on Bad hair day so yeah. Thanks for the video bro🎉❤

Black Dahlia Trigger Happy is also really good. If you get the ball rolling, you can potentially kill all 3 opponents after finishing off the first fighter

A great strat for beat box is a stun set up. Symbol clash The clarinet spin Horn crush Tuba tuba And bag pipe blues This set up is meant to keep your combos up and to keep your opponent locked in as you cycle from buffing yourself to stunning your opponent with alternating blockbusters and symbol clash

These bronzes are really reliable ngl, even as a lvl 50 player. However, I like the Headstrong Cerebella as well, Cripple and Armor Break were immensely useful for how I played

Also with cold stones (or any beowulf in general) after you throw opponent in the corner you can swipe up for a launcher and it actually connects.

I have a question. I've just started to play the game a few days ago and I've gotten my Cold Stones Beowulf to level 30 and unlocked his entire skill tree except for his marquee. Should I invest into his marquee before I evolve him to silver? If so, how many levels should I invest before evolving him? Just unlocking the marquee takes 50 skill points and I'm currently left with just 4.

The order doesn't matter, evolving him to silver doesn't change the cost of upgrades. Refer to episode 3 :)

BIG TIP: Never power up fighters by saceificing other figthers, only do it if you get prestige abilities cause their op, fighters are a very scarce resorce in the mid to late game so don't waste them

Jesus the pain of going in blind and over investing into other stuff and doing everything wrong. I used gold for relics, i used dupes to enhance my current fighters and used a weird set of bronze fighters. Im the only one that uses a green Big Band... and He's also my fav fighter ((just because of my cheesiest miments in story mide using an around 500 power level of him against something with ×3.5 give or take battle. Won by clutch and bullshit block to arial combo)).. welp i screwed up so badly in my early game and im too attached to reset kek. Oh well... its not like i can ever get to play for the meta
