[Skullgirls Mobile] Top 5 DARK Variants to DIAMOND

Just want to be clear that this video (and series) isn't meant to showcase which variants are worth getting to Diamond because believe me, this video would've been twice as long (probably longer) if that were the case! Dark variants are blessed with a lot of really good variants, even in the Silver tier. Choosing the variants to showcase was difficult and those in the video were chosen because they are one of the best at what they do (i.e. Bleed for Bloodbath/DPS for Primed) and they offered unique utility that no other variant with the same role can provide (this mostly comes down to a character's kit). I especially made a conscious effort to compare them with other variants of the same character (i.e. comparing Bloodbath with all the other Elizas) because at the heart of it all, this video is meant for beginner players with limited resources and knowledge. I hope by the time they evolve their 5th Dark Diamond, they would understand the game enough to make their own decisions on which to evolve next. The special mentions are by no means a placeholder for the 6th-10th place nor is it meant to be an exhaustive list. I really did think about them as part of the top 5 during the process of making this video. If you want to know which other Dark variants are really good then read through the comments down below! Some people have put down very good reasons for them!

Some darks that are also very good: Wulfsbane, has cripple and heal block and hits insanely hard Freaky Friday, easy bleed and Crit damage with death mark plus high attack Purrminator, hits really hard after some Crits

Bio exorcist was my first diamond that i evolve and when i started the game she carried all of it , most of the time I'd use just her and 2 fighter that i wanted to lvl up.

Great bleeder with good damage. But Bloodbath kinda fills that role while offering something else that Eliza is really good at. I personally would evolve variants that offer different utilities that I can't find in other variants first!

Evolved purrminator and she works really well against Splitting Image and Dream band, since at some point her damage gets so high, It's near unstoppable unless you don't pay attention to their meters

Definitely agree with Bio as #2. Yea she's great but in higher streaks her damage output is so low that just relying on drain isn't viable. I don't have blood bath but have 4-5 Red velvet XD but I would've evolved her first aswell.

just started playing skullgirls mobile 6 days ago. I got a shiny bio exorcist squigly from a free relic from clearing story mode. I wasn't sure if I was lucky or not. But the next relic i opened was another gold squigly, it's an air one that is really good. I'm not sure if it's beginner's luck or I just got really lucky with that one

Hey! Just saying something. I think bio is better as bloodbath can be countered with curse inflicted on herself , immunity gained by the opponent or any Val with icu nd she does depends on chaos vanish. Nd also I think Wulfsbane nd Freaky should have been definitely there. Nd they r great as Wulfsbane inflicts healblock nd I think he is one of the very less variants who inflicts it aside from LC or Cc(+ they both r diamonds). While freaky's bleed nd death mark r really gud. Nd also purrminator is gud too, she is really unique... Which other character can increase their damage permanently? Nd I'm not saying they should have been in top 5 but atleast on honourable mentions.

There's issues with the length of the vid which is quite long already. But aside from that, if I imagine having only 15 essences and all the dark variants available to me, I would choose Purrfect Dark over Rogue Agent. Do nothing to inflict timeless Curse is kinda stupid. I also haven't seen anyone use headless in Rifts.

Now that I think about it she would definitely be at the number one spot and possibly the best fighter's in the game if her second signature ability when detonating tears all of the opponents buffs will be transfer to her while the buffs are reset and inflict bleeds for 10 seconds.

In the dark element except Primed, I only have Purrfect Dark, Criminal Mind, Moonstruck. The problem is that with Cerebella I have Toad Warrior and Harlequin, with Mrs. Fortune I have Claw & Order, so Moonstruck must be the top priority for me after Primed?

I'd go for Purrfect Dark first. Moonstruck, Friday and Purrminator all need crit. Depends on the moves you have, which one can build higher crit rate?

I think that primed should have been #1 even if she can't remove buffs that easily she still is a very strong offensive fighter with a lot of utility as a parasol and is still able to be immune to any debuffs from parasols immunity taunt.

@@ZeoW17 And I think that putting bloodbath at the #1 spot was a big mistake sure she does have chaos banish to clear the opponent's buffs and is able to get regens very easily but her bleeds are very easily countered by bloodbath mirrors and ICU valentine's and also primed too since she has access to immunity meaning that she is not able to be bleed by her.

It depends. She just does big damage. A lot of variants can do big damage. A few variants do big damage + something extra. Those few variants are the ones I would focus more.
