holy shit no way he spent over half the run building up to use the moonlight greatsword, after getting int gear after int gear and Ranni telling him how much he needs to do an int build, and then FINALLY the moment comes when he can actually use it. And then he walks into a fire giant fight, and immediately gets 1 shot by the very first attack and loses the moonlight greatsword. I'm not lying, that shit had my stomach hurting from laughter. That was the most tragic moment of this entire run, and now all those points he was hording on INT instead of VIG was all for nothing.

Hello skumnnut, I want to offer you a challenge. Allow me to explain. In many games, when you open your inventory, the game stops. In other, the games goes on. *But in elden ring, you can move and fight.* *Can you beat Elden Ring while the inventory is always open?*

Not really. You can't attack with your weapon, rotate camera or do anything aside from moving when you are in inventory. You can still use consumables, so technically you can still deal damage, but the problem is that you can't pick up, craft or buy any consumables with your inventory open. But most importantly, you can't jump with your inventory open. There is exactly one mandatory jump in Farum Azula, but most likely the run would end in Forbidden Lands. There are two small gaps that technically don't require jumping and can be just run over if you have enough speed on a horse...the problem is that you can't gallop with your inventory open unless you close it, start galloping, and then open it back. So no, you can't beat Elden Ring with your inventory always open. The run will end before it even started because you can't open the very first door in the game. If we suppose that you are allowed to close the inventory to interact with NPCs\objects, pick up items and use crafting kit, then the run will end either in Farum or in Forbidden Lands unless you, say, get invaded by someone who just happens to have upward cut stamp, spear with giant hunt or something like that and this someone launches you over the gap. And then there's everything in-between the start of the run and Farum Azula\Forbidden Lands. Your only way of dodging attacks is outspacing them, and anything you can't outspace you'll have to tank. You cannot equip any weapons, armor or talismans, because that would imply closing the inventory tab to open the equipment tab. Your only way of dealing damage is consumables, which you cannot free aim because you can't rotate camera with your inventory open, nor can you lock on onto the enemy because the only way to be locked in with your inventory open is closing the inventory, locking on and opening it back.

This challenge was far too easy for you, particularly at the end where you could not get one-shotted anymore and used the Memory of Grace to escape from precarious situations. Some suggestions to spice things up: "...But if I die or quit out or use the Memory of Grace I lose all my items..." or: "...I lose all my items and my vigor resets to 10 (level 1)" (if this is technically possible). We want to see you suffering, Skum!
