A hightop pistons creates a longer path for the flame kernel to travel, creating the opportunity for pre-ignition. a Circle vs an Oval with the the circumference, the oval has more surface area, thus more drag. This is why formula one runs individual ports much higher up. The transition from round throttle body to oval port, back to round port at the spliter creates different cross currents. i am amazed allmotor classes are not running rollerbarrel throttle bodies, and top mounted injectors.

I could watch these forever. Never heard the term to "roll" a head? Are we talking about reshaping the chambers, milling, or am I totally off?

Rolling over is angle milling. So you would roll the head to whatever you want the valve angle to be and mill it till it’s flat at that angle. That’s why he mentioned the small block Chevy have a 23 degree and you can angle mill them to say 20 degree as an example.

So are you coming out with a k head to buy or is this just for testing? Because of you can’t buy it truthfully doesn’t matter.

we will release the Gen1 spec stuff after that phase of this project is done. Now,,,,what you just said is 'truthfully' part of the problem. as a racer in pro/heads-up class it is your obligation to learn the craft not just rely on people to feed you parts from a recipe created by some other guy ....if theres anything to take away from this series is to learn the core concepts, think outside the box that everyone else is doing, draw from many sources outside of Honda drag racing, and test.
