@@CROSSMYHEARTREFUSETOLIE I don't know, we don't know Emily's parents but Abby's give us a lot of clues Mainly her hair being purple while Pierre's is brown and Coraline's is green, and Abby says she doesn't remember when she last dyed her hair, so it is her natural color (Unless Caroline's is also naturally purple and SHE dyes it green but probably not) Additionally once you get 8 hearts with Caroline she says this: "When we first moved to Pelican Town I would take secret walks to the Wizard's Tower. Don't tell Pierre, he has jealousy issues. Abigail was born about a year after we moved to Pelican Town. I wonder if she'll ever experience life outside the valley?" If it was "Up to the community to decide" there wouldn't be such obvious pieces to this

Probably very late to this, but Demetrius and his daughter are bunnies. Abigail and the Wizard are dragons. The adventurer's guild NPCs (forget the names sadly) are birds, eagles, I think. Sebastian is a wolf. Pierre is a badger, I think? Meanwhile his wife is a raccoon(?) Shane is a gator. There's plenty of species diversity in the mod I use. Hell, Morris is a frog, as well as the desert trader, I think. Sandy is a moth, even.
