Sky Arrow Aero 2019

Sky Arrow from Italy is well known to Americans, partly for its wonderful duty as a trainer for persons unable to use their legs. Italian builder Magnaghi not only offers a highly-innovative hand control system for Sky Arrow, but they will offer it for free to those who need it. The company recently won European approval as a Light-Sport Aircraft but, as the video will tell you, they have other important news including being nearly ready to produce Sky Arrow in America. Excellent. The VA had a program for disabled soldiers that have the desire to become pilots and this is the only aircraft that can do the job. Glad I could help you out. Good luck.

Wow built in SC? They were an Italian aircraft before. I have flown it a crap load. My favorite things is the best visibility of anything I have flown. The other great thing is it is the easiest plane to fly. It goes straight on takeoff with no right rudder needed on take off. Just fun. Not fast, but great fun. Flown it into many grass fields. Took my first X country to first flight in one over a decade ago.

Can we get it with a 914 powering it? How about a a canopy sunshade? 3 blade Sensinech prop? I know how well this AC work with pilots that have disabilities . I was hoping on seeing one at the LSA Expo, but that didn’t happen. I’m looking for one to compare to the CTLS for seating and accessibility due to my left leg restriction regarding the 17 degree range of motion.

It is unwise to even ask FAA to change the 1982 ultralight regulation as it would never go through again as such a simple rule. If any change is sought, the entire rule would be subject to examination and in this regulation-happy world, more is always better. So, no… LAMA will not ask FAA for changes to this regulation.

Why put can’t we have videos with out the bloody music blaring, and the talking level down low. So if you want to hear what is being said you have to turn up the volume, and then back down when the music starts again.

petebard, the specs were already on the clip I got from Magnaghi. While well executed from a video production standpoint, I also found them hard to read. We always try to get B-roll (no text, no sound) clips but they are not always available.
