I personally think Horner held his own from that onslaught. I also think Sky F1 has it in for Red Bull after what happened to their fellow Brit in Abu Dhabi 2021. But guess what they in for a shocker, Red Bull and Max ain't going nowhere anytime soon. Christian is a God tier Team Principal, arguably the best on the grid. I don't know the facts the numbers. BUT, an example would be. Let's say if McLaren win the championship, they win 100million. And 2nd place Red bull get 75 million. Thats a difference of 25million. Then Carlos offers red bull 30 million in sponsorship if they keep Perez. So, even if red bull come 2nd, they still make more money than winning the championship. It's all about the business of making money each year.

Christian is not wrong. Checo isn’t driving bad because he’s a bad driver he’s doing poorly because that car is impossible to drive for anyone outside of Max Verstappen. That second Red Bull seat is where careers have gone to either die or diminish. It doesn’t matter who they put there they will flounder trying to drive that car and they have finally realized that so why put energy and resources into a driver switch right now just to make another driver look mediocre? Yuki, Liam, Ric right now there stock is either stable or growing depending on the driver but if one of them hits that second seat their stock will plummet. If it were me I wouldn’t want it unless I were in an absolute backmarker team.

You forget one thing. The power struggle at RB. Horner is fine with the public perception that Checco is the problem. What do you think would happen if a replacement driver got similar results? Horner has been saying that no driver is bigger than the team. That is not what Marko has been saying, is it? Horner can't risk being wrong there or the balance of power shifts to team Marko/Verstappen. By protecting Checco, Horner protects himself.

It’s simple Redbull had an advantage on the car last year into this year. It got taken off advantage gone. Max is great so he can still drive the car but Checo is not great so he can’t drive the car. Alonzo or Lewis could have did what Max did last year in last year’s car. You think last year if Alonzo or Lewis was the second driver at Redbull they wouldn’t have took some wins off of Max. Any one of the winners of this year would have taken wins in last years Redbull car. Checo is obviously keeping his seat because of money.

Just a comment on Ted Kravitz, I find him an awfully toxic journalist, always looking for scandals and speculating on controversies. He comes across very arrogant and subjective to all that is English. He can't stop mentioning 2021 as of Max Verstappen cheated himself to a championship as of it was not deserved at all. It will not be easy to find a driver who can replace Perez and be more competitive. There are indeed enough good drivers, but few of them will be able to handle the RB20 though. It is clearly a difficult car to drive. But why not treat Horner the same way. Why is Hornet still here? He turned 2024 into a disaster for Red Bull.

Daniel Ric, in the short-term, has a level head, experience, and won races. If not, Red Bull will lose construte's . Daniel will not get overwhelmed by the max effect. im from the Netherlands , Uralkali ( the former Haas F1 sponsor ) wants their sponsor money back because Haas ended the cooperation after Russia invaded Ukraine , untill this day Haas F1 failed to pay the money back ( there was a deadline set by a Swiss judge , as far as i understand ) , so Uralkali asked the Dutch justice system to look into the situation , and a Dutch judge orderd the Dutch police and a bailiff to go to circuit Zandvoort to make an inventory of the Haas F1 team and they made clear that Haas F1 can't leave the Netherlands untill they pay Uralkali their money back , Haas F1 has responded and said they will pay Uralkali in the coming days
