I'd say this is THE most detailed aircraft I've seen in any animated film. Not sure if its due to licensing or what, but everything from even the gear retraction/extension, the slotted flaps, even the cockpit is well modeled. In the movie they also had callouts for V1, VR, V2. Either the director, or some people on the production team had a massive interest in aircraft.

Sky Japan 865 (SKJ865) was a normal flight from SFO to ITKO it took off in SFO at 6:12. At that time, The wind directions was 160. Wind degrees10. The plane was scheduled to arrive at ITKO at 9:14pm. When the plane was cruising, the plane hit fog that the plane could only see 100m, and they suffered a horizon stabilizer problem later made the plane stall to alt3800,And attempted a landing at PER. But due to the fog, the plane crashed into one of the air, traffic control towers. It destroyed engine 3. The plane was now heading to unknown. But the pilot didn’t notice it was leaking fuel on its way. The police discovered this disaster and planned a plan. they said on the Tokyo docks it was enough runway for the B747. But only on its 4 engines. Not 3. then suddenly one guy called Conan. Opened the door. on the upper deck. At this moment the plane had already arrived to ITKO. Crossing near a bridge. But what the police didn’t know that they were going to go through a hard time. The flight was using its reverse. There was not enough runway as you can know. The plane avoided crashing into a crane. The engine 4 hit the ground. And it stopped on the road nearby the dock out of 147 people onboard, only 146 survived. One ejected itself from the plane.

I've been wondering about this since I was a kid at the time this movie was released: *...* (3:28) • How did the cops know they are supposed to park their cars along the pier precisely close to the edge in such neatly manner? They weren't even aware that a plane was approaching towards them at the time, let alone aware that their copcar sirens were meant to serve as a guidance light for the pilots to tell where they're about to land.

so ill explain this kind of things. so, before the doors is open the guy who open the door have unlocked the door's hydraulics system so he can open the door. if u watch detective conan, u will know Kid or 1412 or the thief in that series. He open it cuz he want to make all the police car line up in to a form at an dock so the plane can land bc the airport is on fire cuz engine no2 fell so they decided to land at the dock but the dock its too dark, he open the door and fly away so he can tricked the police car to line up.

Spoiler alert: don't read if you wanna watch the movie...you have been warned...Sky japan flight 865 suffered a murder onboard enroute to tokyo the captain and first officer got incapasitated and held in cabin to recover mean while conan and his enemy Kaito Kid are forced to fly the plane to safety with only cessna light aircraft flying experience. Its a good movie worth the watch.

Theres a mistakes in animation 1.When the plane crashes to ATC tower the planes ditches to ocean but while ditching to ocean the plane’s engine reppears2.engine reppears while the plane landing on cops 3.While the landing to cops the plane’s landing gear dissapears. 4.At crusing altitude scene the plane looks small on sunset.
