Sky News host raises questions over the United Kingdom’s voting system

Sky News host Liz Storer discusses the problems with the UK first past the post system in the general election after Labour scored a landslide victory.
“It’s absolutely hair-raising how many votes you get versus how many seats you get,” Ms Storer said.
“I know that’s the system that they’ve made … it stands to reason that there are a lot of people in the UK now feeling like well our votes don’t count.”

France is worse, holy hell it's bad. The 2nd round of voting can be played with to an extent as only 3 candidates make it to the 2nd round of voting. You can do a deal with another party and have their candidate withdraw so you can soak up their votes. It's election tampering and it's legal, great system.

Its still way above the critical mass of 51% turnout needed to show the ballot is credible. And recording vote of abstention freely without consequence(unlike Australia, except for LGA in WA)is a vote in itself. See what voting options Australia is allowed in the U.N.
