I'm glad that you finally did the real honest review of the Flux! I remember the last time you did some test flying on the Flux I was really surprised to hear your comments back than that the Flux feels ¨piggy¨, but I understand you were probably under the pressure not to say how good this wing actually is!? I have been enjoying the Flux since it first came out and I know how good it is! Respect young man that you are able to do this on your own now without insulting your original instructor! Keep up the good work!

Thanks Trevor. Great review. I just recently subscribed and I’m glad I did. I currently fly the Cima pwr small. It’s my first wing and I’m closing in on 150 hours. I love this wing and look forward to your review on it. You may have sold me on the flux as my second wing but I’ll probably have to clock some more hours on my current wing first before I pull the trigger. Keep up the videos. I’m really enjoying the content. Cheers from the Matty H channel.

You have more than enough hours for the Flux! I recommend it after about 50 or so! Where are you located?
@TrevorSteele12 жыл бұрын
The question that should be asked is - are you wanting more? Is the cima pwr all you want in a wing or are you wanting more out of your wing? The Flux is definitely a next step up and will give you more performance without much downside. Speed, efficiency, stability, quicker launches, and softer launches are just a few of the things the Flux will offer you! I find people who switch tend not to go back and I also see lots of people on a flux, staying on the Flux for a while. It's a wing you don't quickly outgrow.

@@TrevorSteele1 safety is number1 for me in a wing. I’d like some more speed and agility than the cima pwr offers. I fly a parajet maverick atom 80 and love this gear. Would it pack enough power to fly this wing the way it should be flown? I’m about 165lbs. Is the 22 a good fit for me and my equipment?
@TrevorSteele12 жыл бұрын
@@matthewharasiewicz3063 The thing I like about the Flux is that you have the safety and the performance! The Atom 80 will be more then enough power and you'll be shocked at how fast you get off the ground! The lift on it is insane! At your weight the 22m would be the correct size.
@andrewfetterolf70422 жыл бұрын
My comment was: you tried to turn your wing into a plastic bag midflight and the glider was like: " nope sorry buddy were flying , im in wing mode." (Pops back open perfectly)

Now I'm confused. I saw you on dells videos. Dell thinks that everything appart from dominator is a death trap and doesn't like reflex wings yet you are super chill. Also what do you think about swing wings they have rast system.

@@TrevorSteele1 Keep up the good work. You are great. What do tou think about swing wings. They have partition system that doesn't allow full collapse.

@dkdanis13402 жыл бұрын
@@TrevorSteele1 there's a video explaining everything. It essentially divides glider into two sections and when collapse happens only front end collapses while rear automatically gets more pressure to help not deflate. And it recovers instantly. To get bigger collapse guy needed to pull both a and b line. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKivhYyLetN2hK8

@@TrevorSteele1 I figured by looks its bulky but safe n efficient. As far a dominator I've gathered its ok n safe but just old tech but still functional. Not against it either really but doubt I would go out of my way for one.

I saw lots of good opinions on sky cima pwr. It's extremely stable and all that stuff. I wonder is it "fool proof" for example can brakes still be used with speedbar, does it matter if trims are up or down for takeoff and stuff like that. Cause i saw a video dude takes off and files straight down in branches. Some say he didn't have enough air speed because he wasn't trimmed out. Also how does the cima cope with oscillations.
@TrevorSteele12 жыл бұрын
Brakes can be used on bar, trims in, trims out. You can launch trims in or out. And it auto stabilizes from oscillations. It's the most "dummy proof" wing I've ever seen.

@@TrevorSteele1 wow. That thing doesn't want to crash. Can you film a review and test oscillations and collapses and top speed.

So I’m this particular video you’re a little above the 100% load range correct? You say you’re 175lbs and according to the website the weight range for the 22m is 80-110kg. I’d assume you’re at about 120ish kg.

I’m 110 kg so I’m right on the edge. I try to be in the weight range on all wings I fly.

Flux as a second wing or possible a first wing if you do well. Sirocco 3 as a third wing or second wing if you do well. Flux is more forgiving than the Sirocco 3.
