Yeah, they shut me down at a park metro park. In my opinion, it was ridiculous. Plus, I was running a rock crawler. It made no noise. They are always ruining the fun.😂

Shit I move away from SC after 40yrs with the RC car scene seeming dead over the last 20 in the area and now this! Looks like a good time! Used to run my Baja 5b and fly at sky park years ago. Scott's Valley PD is over funded with nothing to do, Been that way for decades

I run my touring car at a city park basketball court. I always try to make it look like I am having a horrible time so nobody will bug me. People in the Northeast hate seeing others have a good time and will try to stop it every chance they get.

We run our rc trucks in a public park with no issues...park rangers says its fine aslong we're careful to not hit anybody or anything...use to be a rc plane flying field open to the public.....like 5 acres of mowed grass field to drive them on

Rangers seem to always just stop by and make sure we are being safe, or just interested in out RC's who knows- Rangers never seem to shut us down tho...

I really hope they didn’t make you guys stop and leave. I mean wtf? It looks like an RC event! There’s tents in the background. It’s a wide open area where you guys were bothering NOBODY. You weren’t trashing the place or being loud or belligerent. Gatherings like this where everyone is getting along, having a good time, and most importantly, not hurting anyone or anything, should be encouraged.

I was running my car in Vancouver, Canada and two cops saw me driving in an alley, when they went by I chased them with my RC and suddenly their brakes came on, thought they were going to turn around and hand me a ticket for public mischief but they took off lol.

So are they saying you need a permit to have that event. And you have ebikes & scooters that do over 50 mph on on the roads everywhere where is the sense in the cops even showing up. Isn’t that National forest land because our local national park ranger told me that they see any RC’s that are battery powered as toys & there are no restriction’s at least on any ground RC’s.

Doesn't make any difference what they're playing with. It's the exact same thing for a fishing tournament, frisbee golf tournament or even a large birthday party. You have to pay the park first and get a permit. Common sense isn't so common anymore.

Im still checking on the legal parts of what they did. All I know is none of us want to create a problem for anyone. This was just good clean fun for everyone. Im guessing someone complained because the cops drove around the parking lot multiple time earlier in the day and just waived at us and we waved back and told them to go home and get their RC's and join us!

@@16-BITFPV you dont need a driver s licence to operate a automobile or travel but the cops dont know that or care cuz they can write you a ticket and suck more money from the people this way- this is why they all make sooo much money- they rob us daily cuz people dont understand the laws.
