Great video! I was debating on this room or the owner suite and decided to go with this one because of the humongous balcony thank you for sharing. Keep cruising. 😀

My only problem with this video is that more people will book this cabin and it may not be available when I want it! 😂. Sailing in the cabin again in December. Can’t wait. Our friend booked the adjacent cabin on the port side of the ship and we will open the divider. He’s excited too.

Thanks so much for your tour of this stateroom! My wife and I are booked in this very cabin for a 14-night France, Spain and Portugal cruise next April. Really looking forward to it after such a long wait! Cheers from a (slightly chilly) Otford, Kent.

I also want to thank you for this video. We are booked in this same cabin for a 14-day back-to-back cruise in the Caribbean beginning on 4 December (2021). We are SO excited for the cabin and especially for the balcony!!!

Very nicely explained cabin description. I wish Princess would have designed in more shade for these balconies.
@derrickingram8312 жыл бұрын
In case it helps, we found the shade adequate on most days, except when we were sailing directly away from the sun. Most other times, we could move the lounge chairs to find shade when we wanted it. We chose this Dolphin Deck balcony partially because the overhand from above is larger than other similar suites. I believe the Baja Deck cabin also has a larger overhang.

@@derrickingram831 Thanks- With no or limited shade comes no or limited privacy. That is why we end up choosing the older ships like Caribbean or Emerald Princess which have a totally covered 10 x 18 balcony. They may be old, they may need a refurb, but the room works.

Thank you for taking the time to post this cabin video. Beautiful cabin! I wonder how long the cruise lines will sail at reduced capacity? I believe Princess has a new flexible dining policy.

Was there a lot of motion and/or vibration? Soot?
@ahcruises59192 жыл бұрын
Hi! There was no soot and the only vibration was when we were docking, and that's pretty much standard for any Aft cabin we've had on any ship (26 cruises so far).

Having spent 2 weeks in the cabin, I would concur with AH Cruises regarding the motion and vibration. Also, while we did not experience any significant soot issue (as we did on the Royal Princess in an aft cabin during her inaugural year), there was some. There were soot stains evident on the 2 loungers and on the decking. At first we would place pool towels on the loungers when we sat on them. But, we noticed that we never saw soot stains on the towels, so we soon took to simply wiping the loungers down with a towel before sitting, just to be safe. We never really noticed any soot or exhaust visibly coming onto the balcony, but I have to note that I have 2 items of clothing that have about a half dozen very tiny soot marks on them that I cannot get out (again, however, nothing like we had previously experienced on the Royal). Both times this occurred when I was standing at the railing watching the wake before heading to dinner. That said, I did this nearly every night again, and only had this happen 2 times out of 14 days. Still, I thought it worth noting.
