I would appreciate more detail in the bathroom, specifically the shower, shelves? hand held shower or fixed shower head? amount of floor space, especially when the older Princess ships have terribly small showers. :-(

We are looking to book our wedding onboard Sky for next year out of Southampton because the ship looks beautiful (thanks to your video!) and the itinerary’s are great. We are just wondering if the entertainment is good in the theatres and the bars? Is it aimed at us being a British home port or is it aimed at the Americans, plus did you sail out of the U.K. on her if so, was it mainly British or Americans? Never sailed with Princess, only P&O so are trying to see if it’s similar (but better haha!)

Heya Joe. First, Congratulations on your wedding! We find Princess a great blend of US and UK cruising. Sailing from the UK you get a majority of British cruisers but also quite a few from the US and Australia The shows are in the theatre similar to P&O. Big productions lasting about 45 mins with a wide mix of music. We really enjoyed them. Outside the theatre Princess do a lot of activities such as quizzes etc. The team come from all over and you get quite a few British crew members. When sailing from the UK the food is tailored to more British tastes and the cabins feature tea and kettles. But even when the ship is not sailing from the UK they even do a British pub lunch and afternoon tea on all sailings. There is nothing we missed.
