I have had a sky strikers deck for a long while now, but I never used it in fear of messing up the comboes. What's the bread and butter sky strikers set up for someone who is a beginner to the achetype? (Edit: would you say that H.A.M.P. is worth using?)

The main feature of Sky Strikers is knowing your opponent deck and how it performs. Since by this alone, you can save up resources and not waste them on the wrong card that will extend or give them something else in return. As for setups, it honestly depends on the hand and opponent board 😅. Personally, since the current format doesn't have any Towers that can't be dealt with it is not worth running H.A.M.P unless you Personal like it 🥰

Do you 100% think a Kaina is a better choice than a 3rd Hayate? I just feel most of the time I either never use Kaina and if I ever do use it it leads to a lost game anyway, whereas a 3rd Hayate does seem to be relavent more often. You have MUCH more experience than me with this deck but that was just something I felt when looking at the list. Anyway great games in this video :)

Thank you so much🥰💗 From personal experience you will need 1 Kaina at least in order to prolong the game or do Linkage OTK when opponent have 9-10k Lp. 3rd Hayate is also a great thing to have you will never regret having 3 in extra 🥰. However, with 2 you will need to use them carefully and not dont mind it at all like in the case of 3 Hayate. 🥰 If you want 3rd Hayate you can cut Hiita or Dhark for it based on your matchups till we get Typoon 😅 we will have to run 2 when it arrive.

I've just gotten back into the game from like a decade absense so i'm back at square one learning everything but this deck is by far my favourite :) Just curious what card do you mean by Typoon? Is that a new card being added soon?

@JackFroster oh nice welcome back ❤️❤️❤️ Yea, Typhoon is a new Xyz monster like Zues (his brother/ raival) release in TCG and OCG, and it can be summoned easily as long as your opponent summon from Extra twice during thier turn 🤣 it is pretty good extra deck card that fits almost every deck 🥰

I really want to see how well you do against high profiles like Pak or Jesse Kotton because i think you are good enough to give them a hard time. Pak recently made a interesting point, he said with the Sky Striker package, Shark Cannon holds more value than Widow Anker because it's more important to steal monsters from the GY than field. Especially against decks like Snake Eyes or SHS. I personally think he is right and play more Shark Cannons than Wido Ankers. I wonder what you think about that and i also love to play a one- off Link into the Vrains in order to loop some extra deck pieces around that Promethean can't target. If you are ok with that i would like to link my deck list for you to check because as a fellow Sky Striker player, maybe we can exchange some ideas. But i would feel a bit uncomfortable if i post the deck list without your ok because it can feel forced or something like that.

Regarding Shark Cannon, yeah i can see it being played at 2 and do great since as you mention in Todays Meta if you can prevent grave effects you can win (or give opponent a hard time), for example decks like Snake-Eyes or Voiceless Voice (we will get them soon). As for Shark Cannon replacing Widow Anchor i honestly don't think that it can happen in Pure Striker (not in the other variants) due to the fact that Pure version lakes ability to jump over high monsters (or towers). And yeah i would gladly love to see other deck lists so feel free to share them

@@Lawand-D-Nero I understand your position to value Widow Anker higher in pure Sky Striker because they need the damage. But i feel like that's Limiter Removel becomes more of a choice because you can't always rely on stealing your opponents monster to beat over them. Maybe i'm too naive with Limiter Removel but this card helped me out against untargetable or unaffected monsters that i couldn't beat over with my monsters. Here is the link to my deck list, currently it's 44 cards because i needed to test which cards i can cut to get down to 41 and which are less useful. Flamvell Lady for example is a card that i have to test. Right now she feels more like a tech card later for Fire Kings because she gives you two bodies in your GY and banishes one of your opponents cards from the GY. She also helps if you brick and only have for example Jet Synchron in the deck which i don't run in this version. But i think she can help out but i honestly see her more in Fire King /Snake Eye because Fire Kings work don't need that normal summon. So i think about to cut her later, i also think to cut Raye on Roze because i have a couple cards that allow me to draw more cards to get to the Drones or Engage. I can't really afford touse my normal summon on her but i'm not sure at the moment. But these might be the 3 cards that i would cut and maybe add Jet Synchron later. I also think about to even cut Ash Blossom and use Phantazmay instead because right now it's way to easy to play around her and sure i could use other hand traps instead but i feel like right now Phantazmay with the extra draw power is in a really good spot. With Link into the Vrains i use only one copy that i can search in order to loop important extra deck monsters around but also guarantee to play a important link monster. I really think Link into the Vrains is a very good tech card for Pure Sky Striker but also Sky Striker/Snake Eye. The GY effect of that card does so much for your if you play tech cards that provide more draw power like Dark Magician Souls or Phantazmay. I hope you like the least even though i play not many hand traps or cut off Jet Synchron. My list a bit of your list, Joshua but also Pak, you all had ideas that i want to translate into a deck with some of my ideas. ibb.co/M2QGFpg

@@Lawand-D-Nero Thank you! I put Dark Magician Souls into the deck for the extra draw power and to have an extra target for Link Into the Vrains. But if i'm not happy with it i will cut it. I also think about putting 3x Rescue Ace Impulse and 1x Fire Attacker into the deck in order to draw extra cards because they give an extra card advantage. But i will test thinks out, i already draw a lot of cards with Dark Magician Souls and Phantasmay, which is now in my deck. There is one card that i fell in love with and i still work on my deck and try to find a space for her. It's Knightmare Incarnation Idlee, she can special summon herself if Link monster with a minimum of 8 are on the field and if your opponent has more link monster thant you do, you can send them all to the GY. And she can't be destroyed by card effects so she is not a Princess target. Here is the new deck list. ibb.co/Nj5YhB3
