Just finishing up rebuilding the cylinder was just like a normal cylinder with double the seals. To get the cylinder apart on the c clip side tap it in to reveal another retainer clip remove that and slide it out from that side. Then replace the seals and your good to go

Hey, is there anyway I can speak to you about what you did here, because I am doing essentially the same thing but on the rear axle and on a gehl. I cannot remove the whole thing (trust me), but for the life of me, I cannot get the inner tie rod end to unscrew from the ram. I've got like 5mm clearance at the end of the ram to grip and it is NOT working no matter what I try.

What's the rest of process to rebuild that cylinder?

I'm sure the cylinder gets rebuilt like any other cylinder, I don't know how to do that though I've never rebuilt one I always just take them to a hydraulic shop, especially when they're very large cylinders like this one.

How much would a job like that go for?

$400-ish. Plus the cost of the Piston rebuild, a hydraulic shop charge me about $700 to rebuild the piston

I'm sorry I don't know how to take it apart, I just took it to a hydraulic shop to get rebuilt.
