No, I only replace and do what the customer pays me to do. I always recommend repairs and make them aware but it is up to them what they want me to do.

@@paulsequipmentrepair823 we recently replaced the brake seals on the front axle of a sky track because it was leaking out of the breather but it blew past the new seals immediately. What did we do wrong?

@@shiniquajones2812 If the seals were installed correctly, you need to check your brake pressure at the valve to ensure you have the correct pressure. You will need a hydraulic pressure gauge, hose and adapter.

@@paulsequipmentrepair823 2 things the other guy did that I didn’t like, 1 he didn’t put grease on the new seals to put them in and used some WD-40 instead and 2 had the seals in on one side and then cleaned the other side with B12 carb cleaner which tends to damage plastics but not sure about rubber. Could either of these been a problem as well?

@@shiniquajones2812 I always use assembly grease such as the type used for transmissions or similar. Don't use something too thick. Sometimes I use oil or oil/ grease mix, nothing as thin as WD though. Never let brake fluid or carb cleaner come in contact with seals. It not only can possibly damage the seal it also makes them not slide through the part easily. I couldn't tell you for sure if anything he did was the problem without seeing the process.

I have steering issues on a 6036 skytrak I’m working on. When it’s in 2wd mode the rear wheels will turn/move an not hold straight. Have to switch to 4wd to straighten the rear wheels up. Any idea?? Thanks
