Great review! I think the SkyXStudio figure looks more screen-accurate compared other Tekkaman Blade figures released so far. In comparison, I bought the ThreeZero ROBO Duo version, but it seems like they took some creative liberties with the design, as it’s too mechanical and robotic-looking in some areas (especially the black areas of the body, and the panel lines of the armor). The Tek armor is supposed to be a biological suit, and Blade isn’t a robot. I feel that the Sky Studio figure captures the nuances of Blade’s design perfectly (aside from the quality-control issues). I also have the Riobot figure. I love the articulation of the joints, but the proportions are a bit inaccurate.

I just got this for Christmas and the gold headpiece in the forehead is loose. Is it possible to fix it?

Sadly doesn't seem as well articulated as I'd like sadly, and the damage state is neat, but I'll think I'll stick with the Riobot Tekkaman Blade. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for watching my videos. I also love the Riobot version of Tekkaman Blade. Each manufacturer has a different design, so it's fun to compare them.
