Skybell Doorbell Install Video

This is a quick install video of the Skybell Doorbell from Honeywell. It was a pretty easy install and works excellent. The picture and video quality is very good. It notifies me when ever there is movement or if the doorbell is pressed. I highly recommend this product.

This might be the ticket for me. Bought a Ring 2 and didn't realize how massive it is and the houses in my neighborhood have the bells installed on door trim. I don't feel like drilling into my home trim to extend wires

Doorbell transformers are usually AC so there is no hot ot ground.

I moved to a house that has this doorbell and I like the feed and how it looks. I do find that I have issues sometimes with it not detecting motion, does anyone else expiereince this? No it is not a sensetivity thing because its literally me coming home or leaving the house and it just ignores it.

no need to change the transformer for the door bell? thought it needed continuous power.

Does it still use your existing indoor chime that old doorbell used? What volatage do you need at old doorbell button for it to work?

Yea it uses the existing wiring and chime. It is a breeze to install

Don't give up it's a little crazy how you have to do it but keep trying. I've had to redo mine a few times from changing wireless.
