Pilatus is so kind to have the flight manual for the PC-6 available for free on their website. Might be useful for reference if you do not have access to a full AFM. pilatus-aircraft.com/data/tech_pub/PC-6%20PIM%2001820%20R08.pdf

Hey cool video. What does it take someone to be able to be a sky dive pilot for e.g. at your organization? Thanks

Thanks alot. Glad you liked it. The requirements for becoming a skydive pilot vary quite a bit depending on the country and operation. For us here in EASA-land there is no specific rating or endorsement to fly skydivers. Legally you only need the license and rating to fly the aircraft. We do not require skydive experience or a type rating on the aircraft to start. However prior experience with more complex and higher performance aircraft (at least something with a constant speed prop and/or turbo) as well as tailwheel time (the Porter is a big tailwheel aircraft) is something we look for. Training for the skydive flights is on the job with another pilot/instructor in the right seat and takes usually 20-40 hours until we and the insurance are happy.

@@LiberTY7416 Thanks for the reply, that's great. it is definitely fascinating to see your fly the PC6T - I hear a lot of positive reviews about it.

@@c3vids_shorts Indeed. It is a kind of oddball in a very specific niche. But it does it incredibly well and the Swiss engineering is excellent. Take that from a German engineer :-).
