Survivor here from a childhood assault, another at 14 in my brother's apartment by an 18 y/o & my bro called me a liar. Your music is so incredibly important, for you but also other SA victims & those with PTSD. 💜 I'm 34 now, so it's been 20 years since my rape, though I've had other SAs since (unfortunately) but not as bad as those 2 from when I was a kid. You are so brave 4 using your voice & sharing your songs 💜 I have poems that I never have been brave enough to do anything with myself about my experiences but the more we talk about it the more we heal, the more when others speak up they are believed too. I'm reeling after the recent roevwade overturning & have been very triggered by it. 😢 Especially since most rapists don't wear protection.
