There is ore excavate in this pack and also wands (just seach for wand not for building). You can craft any colored apple into the corresponding dye. But only once you unlock a color it is possible to craft the dye (for example blue + red = purple, only when you have unlocked purple)

Vein miner is in the pack ... called excavator ... makes it easier to mine up all the tree logs/leaves in the early stages

I haven't played the pack or anything. But I think you probably get green dye from eating a green apple

Pretty close, you get the green dye from putting a green apple in a crafting slot, I'm glad they finally made a new SkyFactory pack lol
